The electric was out for 7 or 8 hours yesterday, so I did not work out.

I did join a local gym and lifted for 48 minutes today(Lost so much strength in the five weeks I was out of the gym)

Doing a insanity workout later tonight.

Yesterday I was feeling totally unmotivated but finally did the core cardio and balance workout followed by cardio abs. Good choice for an exercise recharge.

Stepping away from HIIT, and back to classic volume training for a while. Goin old school.

Still want to drop some weight from the mid section, I've become kind of stagnant in that regard(at least that's how it feels) Think I'm going to break out the ole P90X ab workout video and start implementing it in to my workout at the gym.

Mid section is all diet.

I haven't done squat all week.

I've watched what I have eaten, but I'm on vacation, so I've had quite a bit of beer to drink the past 5 or six days. I'll lose it when I get back.

But I'm not ready to drop that yet.(I don't even like popcorn) Actually I'm about to start my 29 days til 29 here in about a week or so. No junk food, salad at least once a day and lots of fruit, oh and no alcohol. Trying to make myself feel good about getting older.

Hit a Clean PR tonight at 205. Tried 210 twice but just couldn't catch it clean enough to stand up with it. Gave up after two tries, probably could of gotten if stayed with it but ran out of time and had to leave.

So I did legs today and it was a pretty solid workout. Decided I'd finish up with a couple of miles on the treadmill, so I'm about 5 minutes in at a 8 mph pace and I'm watching Sportscenter on the tv in front of me just movin a long trying not to look at my #'s when all of the sudden I just lunge forward into the controls and about go over the top of them. Apparently the emergency release had raddled loose and engaged bringing my treadmill to a complete stop midway through my stride. Really not sure how I didn't hurt myself.

Did lunges today while holding dumb bells, those things really burn.

Day one

2nd time around/Insanity

We, as I posted are doing round two with a twist.

We did the tap out series AB workout and then went with the Max Interval Sports Training video(Insanity)

It was tough but very rewarding after we finished up.

Wouldn't go crazy on the fruit. 29. Old? Thats funny. Keep up the fight!!

How was it?

New PR... By one minute :lol2:

Swim: 41:16

T1: 4:58

Bike: 2:54:27 (19.26 mph/avg)

T2: 3:36

Run: 1:47:49 (8:13 avg/mile)

Total: 5:32:06

Muncie by far has the toughest half-marathon course I've ever done. Not talking just triathlons either. Bike had about a 20 mile stretch on a terrible road so I think I could have knocked off a few more minutes on the bike. Still not great at swimming but a little better. Running is by far my strongest and luckily for me where you can make up the most time. Overall I was extremely pleased as my nutrition was spot on through the day. Upper half of my age division which is tough for me. Extremely competitive age divisions for the next 20 years :;

2nd day back in the gym after taking most of the insanity program off(or not going much during insanity)

I have decided to start dumbbell benching again after, I think three years of not doing.

My strength is all but gone.

Day one the best I got was 85 pounders for seven reps on my last set.

Today I did the warm up with 55 pounds for five reps and went to the 95's and got it for a whole three.

I know it will come back but dag that was sad.
