Trinity 63 Highlands 31 (Scrimmage)

Featured Replies

Final.

It was 36-0 after the first quarter and 51-0 at the half.

Any eyewitness testimony? Is Trinity on 'another level'?

That's what a top 15 team in America looks like. Nobody in KY will stay within 28 points of their starters.

Congrats to Trinity. I am eager to hear/read what the Highlands fans who saw this scrimmage have to say about the game. Hopefully both teams made it through without any injuries.

I guess we will know more about the real significance of this contest after seeing how HHS does against Boyle County next week.

We've got a really good Tennessee team coming in next week. Tonight's game should help us get ready.

Very true on all points. I'm intrigued to see what more Highlands fans have to say as well.

Tonight's outcome doesn't make me feel better about next week's game but I was amazed at the halftime score.

If Highlands couldn't stay within 50 of their starters I think your 28 point predictions is a bit generous to the rest of the state.

That's a great point.

Grossly inaccurate.

When I stated Trinity was on a different level I meant no harm by it as was taken by the Highlands fans, but I am sure they agree with me now after a little taste( one half) of the Rocks.

Any details? Did the defense score? Did Highlands cross midfield in 1st half? How did Trinity o-line look? THX

I was at the scrimmage for the first half. I had to leave because I had some minor health issues,(please don't try to be cute), I spent some time at urgent care this morning. I still got in my car and drove 45 minutes to watch and support the Birds.Every game is a road trip for me.

We had T fans in the row in front of us and they were telling us about the certain players. Very classy people and we had a lot of fun watching the game with them.

The 13 ranking in the preseason polls are inaccurate for Trinity. If there is a better team in the country, I would like to see them.

My Birds played hard and I'm sure they will be ready for Boyle next week.

I was there and Highlands did not look good to me. Trinity players were so fast - kinda like what I've seen Highlands players look like against their competition the last few years.

Hayes for HHS didn't seem to have much spring in his step. Seidel (sp?) looks like he's bulked up and lost some quickness. Harris was tough as usual, but it was tough going against the Rocks.

Anybody else think Houliston will end up at starting QB before the end of the season? He definitely throws a better ball, IMO. Kinda has happy feet back there, but that will settle down with experience.

Highlands defense didn't look like they would have stopped anybody tonight. Poor coverage in the secondary.

I really hope Trinity was really that good (they ARE great!) and that HHS will look better against competition on their own level. Yes - Trinity is on another level.

Now that's dedication. I hope you get to feeling better.

I'm certain your Birds will be ready next week. I hope to finally meet you.

Grossly inaccurate.

So who else is on T's level?
