I'd be interested to see the numbers for Chick Fila this quarter. I have a feeling they will have actually done better.

I can't imagine what the $$ value of the free advertising Chik-Fil-A has received.

I'm not reading this entire thread so this may have been brought up but Rahm Emanual is condemning Chick-fil-a for having the same belief about gay marriage that his boss (before pandering to yet another special interest group) had just a few weeks ago. In fact that was part of his platform when he was trying to show his moderate tendencies during his first election but I digress. Anyway Emanual has basically said he wants no more Chick-fil-a stores in Chicago because they don't reflect Chicago values BUT he is warmly welcoming Louis Farakhan (sp.) to Chicago. Does that mean that Emanual is OK with antisemitism among other of "The Minister's" values?

I had a meeting out in Florence today and because of this thread I decided to stop in at the one on Houston Road. They are not hurting for business at all, the place was packed, and yet the drive-thru went extremely smooth. Went with the traiditonal #1...delicious.

 

I really think Chick-Fila is going to do better this quarter because of all of this. I probably woudln't have stopped there if it wasn't for hearing it all the time this week, Randy Parker woudlnt' have gone for the first time every. Don't worry about your Chick-Filas...especially the ones in God's Country (KY).

I remember that you did, RM, but it at least seemed to me that the board back then was at least 80% against them and asked why anyone should even care about "Hollywood's" opinion.
