The boycott is NOT working in Etown. Busiest I've seen this Chick-Fil-A. Though I will admit, his stance is probably VERY popular here smack dab in the middle of the Bible Belt.

Just got from there in Paducah. couldn't even find a parking spot. Had to park at Kohls next door. Drive through wrapped around the entire restaurant .

Dan Cathy, don't know him and don't agree with him. But he is a genius. Intolerant, but a genius.

Why do you say he's intolerant? I have heard nothing to suggest that.

I am a big fan of their original chicken sandwich. Just get a #1 with an Oreo milkshake with whipped cream. Eat the sandwich first because the waffle fries stay hot for a while for some reason so they can sit there and you don't have to scarf them down before they get cold. They hold their heat well. No need to add condiments to the sandwich either. It's perfect the way it is.

You can thank us later. :D

Thank you, I did exactly that. It's a good thing they're not closer to me.

I don't think there's anything wrong with this guy saying he's against gay marriage as long as he does not discriminate against gays in his hiring practices or in serving them as his customers. Everyone has their own opinion on the subject and he is entitled to his. I'm sure if I look closely, I can find something I don't like about Jeff Ruby's beliefs but he still makes a damn fine steak! Who am I to judge?!

Probably too strong of a word. He's not refusing service or poisoning their chicken.

I'm not so sure I would count that out. SOMETHING is in that chicken to make it so dang addicting!

Okay, maybe just a little crack.......

[h=6]All of these chick fil a protests are doing exactly what they are saying is wrong: being intolerant of a belief different than your own. I'm so sick of the "you should be allowed to believe what you want unless I disagree with it attitude."[/h]

That's good to hear. I was hoping you'd enjoy it.

If it's one thing I know it is fried chicken.

(yes, I feel a tad bit stereotypical right now. Just keeping it real though.)

When you come to Louisville, the best fried chicken is at Chicken King. Get the spicy. Get some wedges. And don't forget the homemade banana pudding or caramel cake.

Chicken King is very good!

Great! Now I have somewhere new to eat when I visit my daughter. I love fried chicken.
