July 21, 201214 yr I support Dan 100%! Not because I'm anti gay, but because I am sick and tired of political correctness and the garbage that comes with it. Times........... they are ah changed. Let's see if his business goes under. NOBODY says what they really think anymore. The repercussions are to great. Sad.
July 21, 201214 yr Closed on Sundays? No big deal. We've been to a few different locations, including WI, IN, IL, TN, OH, KY, etc. Always plenty of customers at each location.
July 21, 201214 yr I respect and admire his decision, they may loose the Bowl game, but I don't think his business will suffer, as a matter of fact I think his business will increase.
July 21, 201214 yr I go to Chickfila almost daily (not on Sundays). Great food, great service. The best employee at the store is a gay guy. I will be back in the morning as usual.
July 21, 201214 yr I eat Chick-Fil-A 4 out of the 5 work days in a week, no lie. I'm not certain what stance Dan Cathy or any Chick-Fil-A exec could take that would make me stop eating there.
July 21, 201214 yr So you're saying their chicken is pretty good? So much better than a meatloaf sandwich!
July 21, 201214 yr I go to Chickfila almost daily (not on Sundays). Great food, great service. The best employee at the store is a gay guy. I will be back in the morning as usual. Do you know the guy personally?
July 21, 201214 yr That is a mental image I didn't need... And how stupid can some companies be!? Why is it stupid?
July 21, 201214 yr I'm 100% pro gay rights. I am also 100% freedom to hold and express one's own beliefs, with the caveat that they don't harm others. In this case, CF isn't denying either service or jobs to gays. There is no injustice in their business practice. What a business owner's personal beliefs are, they're no concern of mine. I will still partake of the yummiest chicken sandwich and the waffle fries. I believe tolerance is a two way street. He has done nothing to infringe on the rights of gays, nor displayed intolerance. I don't agree with him, but he's certainly not done anything to warrant a boycott or deliberate attempt to harm his livelihood.
July 22, 201214 yr I don't side with his beliefs but I love his company. The place is always packed but their customer service gets an A+ and their food is also pretty good.
July 22, 201214 yr I've never been to Chick-fil-A, but I certainly wouldn't let this stop me. I'm not anti-gay, I have no problem with gay people or civil unions. I really don't care if they marry although I believe marriage to be between a man and a woman, I do however, understand and respect other people's religious view of marriage.
