July 25, 201214 yr When you come to Louisville, the best fried chicken is at Chicken King. Get the spicy. Get some wedges. And don't forget the homemade banana pudding or caramel cake. I like Indi's a lot. Though it doesn't typically like me...
July 25, 201214 yr I like Indi's a lot. Though it doesn't typically like me... Indi's and King's are both great. But Chicken King is NEVER too greasy, and the make their own desserts....oh...and they are much closer to me. . Back in the day, Indi's at 9th & Broadway was my only option, so still some love for them. Edited July 26, 201214 yr by rockmom
July 26, 201214 yr I haven't said anything but I didn't realize it was such a big deal that a business owner could have an opinion. Now the mayor of Chicago wants to stop a Chick-Fil-A from opening. Chicago Wants to Ban Chick-fil-A | FOX News & Commentary: Todd Starnes Isn't that against the law as a politician to stop a business from opening. But he is liberal so I guess he is allowed to do whatever, especially since he is Obamas little pup. What tolerance these people have.

July 26, 201214 yr Dumb, dumb, dumb by Boston & Chicago. Why would you want to drive business OUT of your town? And seriously! You want to drive CFA out....but you both allow strip clubs and escort services. PLEASE!
July 26, 201214 yr Dumb, dumb, dumb by Boston & Chicago. Why would you want to drive business OUT of your town? And seriously! You want to drive CFA out....but you both allow strip clubs and escort services. PLEASE! It is all about taking some kind of a political stand but more so just grandstanding. To the best of my knowledge the CEO did not come out and say he hates gays and does not allow them to eat chicken in their stores. He is in support of traditional marriage and against gay marriage. So is half of the country and all states if you go by referendums. The Mayor's positions are in essence, "If you do not support gay marriage, we do not want you in this town." Not the best of messages to be sending on such a divided issue.
