What most jumped out at me was the cleanliness of the building & the service I received. I actually am going to email the CFA I went to tonight because the girl working DT said "My Pleasure". It stands out to me because when I got my first hotel job, it as at The Brown. The owner at the time was a former Ritz-Carlton guy and he INSISTED that we never responded to a "thank you" with "you're welcome", but with "it's my pleasure". We could get written up for doing otherwise. Although now owned by a different owner, that is one of the distinctive principles of service at The Brown. But I rarely hear it anywhere else. And because I don't, I always am appreciative when I do. The phrase is so ingrained in me that I use it in my everyday life. And I've notice since I left The Brown, that I am even more conscious of the fact that when I say "my pleasure", I really mean it in a literal sense. "You're welcome" just doesn't convey the real feeling of satisfaction I get when I do something for which someone feels gratitude. Probably yet another thing people will out down as weird about me. :lol:
July 26, 201214 yr ^ It must have taken longer than usual for the nuggets to be served, because when the guy gave them to me, he said, "Let me get you a coupon for having to wait." I told him not to worry about that, because I really didn't think it was all that long. They seemed to take pride in what they were doing. Cleanliness impressed me the most. I would have felt comfortable eating off the floor in that place (the one on Houston Road in Florence). Having said all of that, the food didn't knock my socks off. It was good, but nothing outstanding IMO. Going to try something with more calories next time (trying to lose some weight).

I assure you I'll take your advice on the #1...minus the milkshake, of course.

July 27, 201214 yr 1 - I am indifferent about Chick-Fil-A....If I never eat it again, that would be fine, if I have it tomorrow, that would be fine. 2 - I am all for companies to stand by their beliefs 3 - I am against gay marriage, by definition.

And CFA would not care if you put your face right in the plate of waffle fries and ketchup!
