November 12, 201213 yr :thumb: Do tell us about this one. Boring as all get-out and didn't give me the answer I wanted. I hate it when the law doesn't match my facts. At any rate, it was still a better read than The DaVinci Code.
November 13, 201213 yr Author ^ I enjoyed the premise but really don't like Dan Brown's writing style at all. Little bitty chapters with semi-juvenile cliffhangers at the end of each one.

November 13, 201213 yr I am reading an interesting book called "How we Got our Bible" IT explains the history of canonization, translations, versions, and other pertinent information that led to what we have today.
November 15, 201213 yr ^ I enjoyed the premise but really don't like Dan Brown's writing style at all. Little bitty chapters with semi-juvenile cliffhangers at the end of each one. I know it's probably juvenile, but I love that style of reading. Keeps me more interested and I can get through those books a lot quicker. Probably why I like David Baldacci as well. Just finished True Blue by David Baldacci. Enjoyed it, as I do all his work, but was a little disappointed in the ending. A lot of build up, but the ending seemed to quick. On to Beyond Band of Brothers: The War Memoirs of Major Dick Winter.
November 15, 201213 yr Just finished Envy the Night, by Michael Koryta. I loved the setting, north woods lake in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, an area that I am familiar with. Very good read. He is such a great storyteller. Just started Baldacci's Simple Genius.
November 16, 201213 yr I finally finished No Easy Day. That was a great read to get the real inside story. A 5 year old and a newborn have really cut into reading time lol. I am attempting to start The Legend of the Duck Commander The Life and Times of Phil Robertson.
November 19, 201213 yr I finished The Innocent by David Baldacci over the weekend, making a trip to the library after work today to see what I start next
