As a Louisville fan, I can promise you that it does matter to me and I'm sure that it does to plenty of others. I know that Siva has annoyed people before and is apparently at it again, but from a very realistic point of view, I don't believe that many stared into the crystal ball and saw them being in the final four. I know that I didn't, but I am more than happy for them.

I like this post. Like I said previously, I did pick the Cards to go to the Final Four in one of my 3 brackets. Not surprised one bit by their appearance. May both teams come out of Saturdays game injury free.

Kentucky by 15. Cats roll into the title game...

Well I'm thinking that if the cards pull out a victory it will have to be a low scoring defensive game.

I will give you that, It will have to be a defensive battle for UL to win but I like UK's chances. IMO they lost two meaningful games. The first being that you are as good as advertised but you can lose any day if you don't play smart. The second being keep your head on straight, just because you show up and play hard or you say you played hard doesn't mean much..... and you are still beatable. I'm hoping they caught on to and believed that.

Think that will be their game plan. Will it work? We shall see.......

I think UL pulls of the upset. Difference this time around will be Chane!

Keys for UL victory

1. Stay out of Foul Trouble.

2. Force Teague to turn it over.

3. Keep "The Kid" off the glass.

4. Find away to Get Davis out the lane so Siva can attack.

5. Keep the score under 50.

Kentucky 72-58.

We have over achieved and why wouldn't people say that if we lose? You seem angry that Louisville fans could possibly be realistic, not sure why.

Here is what I don't understand. This was a preseason #8/9 team and climbed all the way to the top 4. If they overachieved, it wasn't by much. Seemed like they "achieved" to me...

As I age my memory goes. Am I correct that in the first game the officials let the two teams knock the hell out of each other?

I hear you, but if you take away the first twelve games, you would be hard pressed to find someone who thought they were a top 25 team. I had legitimate concern that we wouldn't even make the tournament about mid way through the season.

You forgot:

6: Hope Jones injures a finger and plays like he did vs IU (1.0)

7: Hope Lamb isn't hitting 50% from three

8: Hope Miller decides he's OK not winning a title this year and disappears

UofL is holding teams to 60.8 PPG (UK is at 60.6), and UK is scoring 77.9 PPG. You really think UofL can hold them under 50?

I thought it was called fairly tight. 51 fouls total - 29 on UofL and 22 on UK.

Did you think UL could hold Mich. State under 50?
