Rams/Saints Updates

Kicking in about 5 minutes should a good game with no weather issues this one could be a shootout.

Saints driving...

Saints are in total control early. The Rams through almost one quarter have no first downs only 6 yards of total offense and are luck to only be down 13.

Lucky it's not 21 to 0...jeez!

Rams get on the board with a FG after having to run a fake punt to pick up a first down to keep a drive alive. 13-3 Saints with 9:49 left in the first half.

Rams has got back in this one in a big way with a touchdown by Gurley makes it 13-10 Saints and Rams get the ball to start the 2nd half.

The Saints not getting but FG's on those first two trips may come back to bite them.

nice drive by Brees and the Saints to go back up 10 at 20-10 with 8:34 left in the third period.

Rams answer back with a TD to make it 20-17 Saints with 3:06 left in the 3rd period. It's starting to get to being the type of game a lot of people thought it would be.

Rams have to settle for a FG after having the ball first and goal. That could be big not getting 7 there. It's tied at 20 with 5:16 to play.

Saints come down and get a FG to take the lead 23-20 with 1:46 to play. However the officials miss an bad pass interference that would have in all likelihood gave the Saints the game. The Rams have a shot to tie it or win it now.

If the official does not have enough guts to make the big call, he should find another line of work. That was clear as bell. Terrible.

Rams tie it up and looks like overtime.

Rams get a FG to tie it at 23 looks like it's headed to OT big no call. I think could have even been helmet to helmet or hitting a defensive receiver or for sure pass interference and never called either. Plus on the previous drive they missed a pass interference on Ginn or for sure it was holding that stopped a drive for the Saints.

Saints screwed that up also. I have never saw three terrible of play calls as the Saints ran. Did not run the clock as all. With that, still got the worst call of the year.
