Voice of Reason
How do we rate him? Is it all about wins and that is all? His QBR has been terrible. Last week he was the second worst QB in the league in QBR. His first start and today he was 21st. He has thrown 1 TD pass in 3 starts.

Last week he was the second worst QB in the league in QBR. His first start and today he was 21st. He has thrown 1 TD pass in 3 starts. The lack of TDs and the 2 picks last week hurt his rating. But percentage wise he is at 59% - typical for NFL. He is averaging 90 yards a game rushing with 2 TDs in the 3 games. With that sort of statistic he would be 3rd in rushing in the NFL if that was maintained from the start of the season. As just a thrower - he is not setting the world the fire but is adequate. But its the true dual threat that makes him unique. ESPN stats on Jackson: Lamar Jackson Stats, News, Videos, Highlights, Pictures, Bio - Baltimore Ravens - ESPN 59% is nowhere near the average now in the NFL. By NFL standards, that is actually really bad. Some of that can be offset with his running ability, but it is obvious the passing game has been scaled back to fit Jackson's strengths. The threat to run allows for much more of a potent running game, which is great for Jackson and the Ravens. We are short into his tenure, so we will see where this takes us. NFL history shows a more developed passing game will be needed for long term success. He has some time. I hope they stick with him over Flacco. Doesn't matter how he's doing it, Lamar is brining home W's. The Ravens have to start limiting his runs though. He'll be done before he really gets going if they don't.
