Nicholas County 50 Bishop Brossart 37 (10th Region "A" Finals)

The Nicholas County Lady Jackets successfully defended their 2017 10th Region "A" title, breaking open a tight game that was knotted at 25-25 mid-third quarter.

Congratulations to Coach Greg Letcher and his ladies and best of luck representing the 10th Region next Wednesday at 10am when they take on the champions of Region 6 (LvHolyCross or Presentation).

I did not to go to the game and am presently listening to the broadcast replay.

I will tack on some points and All-Tournament honorees when I get to them.

No Brossart player notched double-figures.

Freshman Marie Kiefer led the team with 9.

Mariah Frommeyer and Rosie Jump contributed 6 each.

Allison and Olivia Schultz added 5 apiece.

Taylor Moore scored 4 and Madison Crowe 2.
