The Habs and Bolts battled to a 1-1 tie which held through the overtime period. Paul Byron made the only goal in the shoot out to give Montreal the victory.

The only goals in regulation came early in the 2nd period and only 44 seconds apart. Max Pacioretty got one past Andre Vasilevskiy just 20 seconds into the period. 44 seconds later, Nikita Kucherov scored his 26th goal of the season.

Well, if they gotta lose, at least they got a point. Go Bolts!
