Pulaski is hurting for a win, size and skill to do the trick.

Danville came up with some mojo on a fateful kick.

This game will be close, please make no mistake.

The Ads get the hard fought win on a big play VanCleave will break.

4. Mayfield vs. 6A McCracken County

In year’s past this game would have quite the attention,

Yet McCracken seems to be regressing from the program’s early ascension.

The Mustangs are a little down in most people’s eyes,

Mayfield has answered questions and have a Title set as their prize.

Despite all the Mustangs’ numbers, Mayfield is the better team.

The Cardinals Offense continues to roll as they score twice down the seam.

5. Lexington Christian Academy vs. 3A Lexington Catholic

Fayette private schools unite! A rivalry long due.

Both coming in on big wins, both with a Top 5 crew.

The Eagles will score points, but so will the Knights

Logan Nieves will need to play well for LCA to soar to new heights.

The game comes down to the wire, but Catholic stands alone.

LCA simply doesn’t have an answer for Mr. Jones.

6. Glasgow at 4A Allen County-Scottsville

An unexpected clash of teams yet to taste a defeat,

Expect a back and forth clash you wish to put on repeat.

The Patriots are surprising and poised to make some noise,

Coach Garmon will need to gameplan hard and also motivate his boys.

After leading throughout, Glasgow can’t hold on anymore

Allen County nips them by only a score.

7. Newport Central Catholic vs. 3A Belfry

The Swami took heat for always picking against NCC,

But losses are common on their schedule, bigger schools are the key.

The trend continues with the team who has won 3A the last four times,

Belfry isn’t quite the buzzsaw of last year, but their running game still shines.

A much closer outcome, no running clock at all.

Yet despite their best efforts, to 2-2 NewCath will fall.

8. Owensboro Catholic at South Spencer, IN

Crossing to the Hoosier State typically is not good for the Aces,

South Spencer though is a step down, OCath should cover their bases.

Vonn Williams steps up and takes a few to pay dirt,

The Defense rallies and survives a brief scoring spurt.

Edge’s boys need some confidence, they are battered and all claim a bruise.

This week should give them a boost, I don’t see anyway they lose.

With a strong running game, it comes down to a 4th and Short that they go for it,

They get the late lead and ice it thanks to Cornett.

Lloyd Memorial at 4A Marion County

With DeSales on a Bye, the Swami will give a bonus selection.

The next team on the bubble is Lloyd, they head in the right direction.

Crossing the Parkway, to CKY we head.

Lebanon will be a favorable host, Lloyd paints the town red.

Marion will be little resistance to the Juggs, a comfortable win in store.

The Juggs keep their momentum winning by at least 4 scores.
