Jim Schue
OK, I posted this story before I read it all the way through, and there's some pretty heavy stuff in here. Said he was there for 2 months. It was not revealed what he was being treated for, but the facility specializes in drugs/alcohol. Browns coach Mike Pettine, who has visited Manziel this offseason, says football takes a "backseat" to Manziel's health. "For his football life to get it where it needs to be, he needs to get the personal life where it needs to be," Pettine said at the NFL owners meetings last month in Phoenix. "This takes precedence, so however long of time he needs, the football will be there when he gets out."

JokersWild24
Allegedly team reps had to go looking for him before a game and that he was pretty sauced when they found him. The team source said he was "drunk off his...". This was supposedly the game where he missed the team's departure or something like that and wasn't on the sideline, and that was the reason. Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel struggled with commitment, preparation, sources said
oldgrappler
Johnny is going to have to prove himself. He's done plenty to disprove the hype. It's all about football from here on out. The Browns brought in veteran QB McCown to start and hold the fort until they get a young qb with potential for the future. Johnny will get a shot to be that man but he will have to prove himself with work ethic during the off season and preparedness when the season starts. My guess is McCown will start the opener and if does well, Johnny will sit a while. When he gets his chance, he better look a whole lot better than last season. Thad Lewis was also signed to be the back up so they don't have to use Johnny if worse comes to worse. It will be interesting to see if the Browns try to trade up to get Mariota on draft day or wait to get a developmental qb later in the draft. They could even work a trade for another veteran. Rumors are they have an eye on Sam Bradford and are hoping Chip Kelly wants his old college qb badly. Bottom line: Johnny gets to feel what being part of the working class is like. He's gonna have to earn it.
