onetoya
I just heard this today and was wondering if the source is correct. There are 11 private schools in Kentucky who play football. Is this true? To be quite honest I thought the number would be a little higher
onetoya
Okay, I can see that that is a TABOO thread but it should be discussed here in the football forum. I don't want to debate private vs public. I just want to know how many private schools in Kentucky play football.

Based on the 11 I got that play football they break down like this: St. X Trinty Cov Cath Lex Cath Lex Christian Bethlehem Beth Haven DeSales Holy Cross Kentucky Country Day? Millersburg Military? New Port Central Cath Those are the 12 schools playing football I just got from the KHSAA web site. But I believe that there are way more than 16 schools competeing in KHSAA sports. westsider
The number I saw was either 46 or 48.
rock86
The number I saw was either 46 or 48. This would include all-female schools. There are several small private schools that do not play football. I believe the 48 number is close if not exactly correct.
Sandman32
I think Ft. Campbell and someone else was also considered a private school.
