I think their will plenty of scholly's open once Coach Cal meets with everyone. IMO Liggins, Stewart, Harrellson, Williams, will move on. Some people are saying porter will be leaving as well because of graduation and a child on the way but I hope Coach Cal reaches out to him to keep him, he is definitely not the answer at point guard but seems like a great kid and a great leader as well. No one will out work the kid. I think their is a possibility Villarino follows Billy G to wherever he ends up probably UTEP again.

Where's Leonidas? Seems he had all the answers to the coaching search at NL. Maybe he's on spring break???

I think Orton is headed to OK St., especially if Cousins comes with Cal. -
I personally don't think Riley is right for the job, but I wouldn't care to see Barnhart have him (Riley) be on the hiring committee.

I saw the Plumlee kid at the Laurel County Hoopfest, he is very long and athletic he had a ton of dunks, but was also able to shoot from 15-17 feet, and put it on the floor a little bit if needed, he will make a nice addition to this team next season.

Supposedly Rick Barnes accepted two years ago but told Barnhart he had to wait until Durant went pro to make it official, but Barnhart didn't want to wait. Don't know if that is true or not but I have heard that several times.

Is it official? Is Gillsipie gone? Did he let it slip yesterday?

BCG told Konner Tucker and his family he would be the coach at UK next season. -
Coach Ford is a great coach, don't know if he is ready for a uk caliber program just yet though. I really like his dad Eddie, but causes a lot of problems for Travis, I hope it doesn't cause not to get a job.

What KY High School players should BCG look at/offer?

From what I have been told Pittman is heading to a JUCO, then possibly WVU. I like his talent but seems like a Huggins type kid. -
You know UK b-ball is down when this is all we have to talk about.
-
I saw something interesting today, espn was showing maryland's numbers and they were very similar to uk. With huge exception that md beat three #1 teams this year (UNC, wake and Duke). The last time we beat a #1 team was florida in 2003.

Porter is rumored to be leaving, doesn't make a lot of sense since he will be a senior but he does have a redshirt year. He could be a three year graduate aswell don't know.
-
His dad was the head coach at North Laurel in the mid to late 90's. His grandparents still live in Somerset, Kentucky so he does have Kentucky ties, hopefully it works out. He comes from good stock his dad played at OK St and then had a stint with the Bulls.

When do people start calling for Barnhart's job?

You are exactly right! -
Could he potentially replace Meeks at the 2 gaurd?
-
They are, 15th and 13th switched.

Plain and simple these officials were in over their heads and that goes for the entire tournament. The play you are refering to should have never happened the officials let the game become so physical, tempers were flarring on both teams. And to beat it all they totally botched the call, Wardrup should have been called for a personal foul and then both players (Wardrup and Manns) should have recieved technicals for pushing one another. It is sad that the KHSAA lets things like this continue.
