The only time I've saw the campers this season was against Bell Thursday, and if they play that way all the time they will not come within 20 of SL. Also the guys I saw really didn't match up that well with St. John. I think he will have a big night.

Corbin by 15, Knox has no one who can bring the ball up against the athletes and depth that Corbin has. Knox has really struggled against the press, also I think Crawford and Josh Smith can keep Miller in check.

Yes, Andrew Roark was promoted from o-line coach. He was an assistant at Bell county before that.

I think south wins by atleast 10. South is going to press and play their 2-3 matchup zone with St. John staying with Brumback. It will come down to Jackson hitting shots from outside which is not their strong point.

Final Jackson was down 10 with 1:30 and hit two threes to get to 4 with 1:00 left. Clay was called for a charge with :54 seconds to go, but Jackson turned it over which sealed the game, fun game to watch and a great crowd North Laurel put on a great tournament.

This season could be Coach Wrights best coaching performance since he has been in Laurel Co.

Laurel County Head Coach - 9000 Head Assistant - 4800 All other Assistants - 4000 The number of assistants depend on number of players, per ten players school gets an extra assistant. This is the same in Basketball (boys and girls), Baseball, and Softball.

I agree, but I was impressed with their big man. Seems like Strange gets most of the hype but the Day kid really impressed me.

They do vote every year at the annual meeting but the motion was actually made by the Red Bird AD and the OBI representative seconded the motion to draw. And the JC AD completed the vote to draw.

The sad thing is that JC coach wants to seed but has no say in it, the principal and AD made the decision.

It will be a wild night monday 2/25 with Clay v. Jackson (girls) @ 6:30 and Clay v. NL (boys) @ 8:30. The girls game has always been a huge rivalry and the boys has turned into a good rivalry of late, should be an entertaining tournament on both sides.

I personally don't see coach wright leaving SL unless it is for a AD job or coaching at the college level his youngest son is a soph. or jr. not for sure after he graduates he will have nothing holding him back from making a move.

I personally thought that corbin was out coached. I'm not saying Petrowski is a bad coach the other he didn't do a very good job. South has been playing that 2-3 matchup zone since Roscoe Denny arrived 10 or so years ago.

Some of the worst officiating I've seen. And that is saying a lot because I have watched the 13th region for some time now, but this past friday was unbelieveable. For example Josh Siedel fouls out with 2 minutes remaining, all 5 fouls come in the second half, 3 in the 4th quarter. This was also the first time I have seen an offical blatenly ignore a rule. A clay county player slaped an NL player in the head after ball out of bounds it goes unseen the NL player reacts by getting chest to chest with CC player, and CC player slaps NL player again directly in front of offical 2 technicals were assesed. Now it is my understanding that anytime a player throws a blow it is automatic ejection. Since this district does seed if i were coach conway i would never play this team again in the regular season, this stuff is far to common at CC and needs to stop. My comments are in no way directed at the players of CC purely at administration and coaching staff.

Its good to see a small school like Pineville doing well but I'm not ready to move them ahead of North or South because of the strength of schedule. If they can it up against Knox Central and Corbin in a couple of weeks I will be a believer.

I don't know what your problem with London is, but I am from London and I am in the same class as everyone else in the state except maybe those folks from Corbin. JK

In the 13th Corbin and Cumberland are the clear cut favorites but don't sleep on Jackson Co. or South Laurel. And if North Laurel's Josh Siedel stays hot they could have an outside chance.

In my opinion I think the T v X game this past weekend was the best game from a fan point of view. I understand that some feel it is'nt fair both schools are not on the same side of the bracket because both schools are in Louisville, but this season they were the two best teams in 6A just like years before when they were in 4A. From a fan point of view I want the two best teams to play in the state championship, although it doesn't always work out. This years 4A game is the perfect example Lone Oak was a very good team and a great story but IMHO I felt the 4A state championship was decided when Lex Cath beat bell. For what its worth I would like the format to stay the same.

Great game to watch, congrats to JC. This should be a great rematch in the District Tourney as Boucher said. BTW their were many trips were Brumback didn't even touch the ball I don't see how the coach would allow his team to not run the offense thru his a great player like that. I heard that UK was talking to Brumback about walkin on for Football anyone else head this?
