Clay pulls this one out in OT. Clay Co had won an earlier meeting between these teams by 42.

Not a good performance by the Lady Tigers at all. The Lady Tigers came out and basically did not play. The Lady Tigers had beat the Lady Jags by 40+ points earlier in the year and I think the Lady Tigers came in thinking that this would not be much of a game, but boy did they think wrong. I just hope the Lady Tigers play much better than this in the region or they will not be heading back to diddle Arena. But nice game for the North Laurel Lady Jags.

I did not see the 49th championship game but sure sounds like Coach Bowling and his North team really rose to the challenge considering they had been beaten so soundly by Clay earlier in the season.
