Heard a rumor last night that BCG, Todd, and Barnhart were in a closed door meeting for most of the day yesterday. Like I said its just a rumor, probably nothing to it.

Thats true, I'm not one to question the officiating a lot, but if I'm not mistaken I think St. John only had one foul and probably 8-10 blocks. As physical as he is he had to have made some contact on a few of those plays. I really look forward to when this kid realizes his potential and ablility, and starts to put the work in during the off season. Because the sky is the limit for him if he is willing to work. I just hope it isn't too late.

This was a great game to watch, NL didn't have an answer for St. John.

Why doesn't BCG play a zone every once in a while, I know it wouldn't of helped much last night cause Miss St was lights out from three, but scar killed us on the drive and dish.

Im on the fence with Gillispie, the basketball side of things has very little to do with my worries though. He has to do a better job with the media, that is part of being coach at kentucky. When he wins 900+ games he can be a jerk like bobby knight. Also some of the in house traditons that he has changed or put to the way side worries me.

I think the two teams (UK, and Davidson) are pretty even as far as non-confrence schedule goes. Losses UNC/Duke - Both are great teams UNC has had a little trouble of late but still a great team, and will be great game in a couple of weeks. UofL/Oklahoma - Agian I think a pretty even matchup. Wins Both teams have a common win against WVU K-State and NC State are not very good but NC State is better because of their ACC schedule.

North Laurel - Nathan Allen, Josh Seidel, Mike Patton South Laurel - Richie Riley, Chris Berry, Ty Proffitt

Definitely won't be a star or a starter but will give a good team quality minutes on the boards and defensive end. I don't see him as a scorer, I can see him being similar to Luke Walton for the Lakers.

Chzik has an exceptional resume with the obvious exception of Iowa State, but I think Auburn really passed on one of the best young coaches out their, but Turner Gill will be fine.

Don't forget about Winston Guy in that reciever rotation, I thought he done some nice things this in spirts.

Josh Seidel for North Laurel is an extreme longshot but puts up some great numbers and is really a lot of fun to watch, he reminds you of a high school version of Larry Legend.

I wasn't very impressed with Zollo, but maybe my expectations were a little seeing he is just a sophomore. Stenzel can flat out play. I thought coach Humphrey made a great move when he switched up his gaurds on seidel. The 27 - 1 run really put NL away.

I was in big orange country today, all the radio stations were reporting rumors that an offer had been made to Kiffin from UT.

Im not positive, but I think he also coached at Pelham High School in Birmingham, Alabama, where Jep Irwin (former South Laurel Head Coach) is now coaching.
