You are reffering to Josh Sidel who is 6'5 175 probably NL's best player, but he was here the entire season last year. BTW he does speak english. His family moved here from Pennsylvainia his dad is pastor at a local church.

Nik was just that good, the 07 version of the jaguars o-line is much better than than any of the o-lines that Nik ran behind. Niks speed and vision allowed him to do the things he done. BTW - If the fans and parents would allow the coaches to coach instead of criticizing the staff every chance they got the season would be going a lot better. Don't forget these are kids and are easily influenced if they keep hearing negative things about their team and coaching staff they will begin to believe it. I know we want our kids to suceed and win but sometimes we have to take those parent glasses off and see what is really going on out their on the field.

Mountain Thunder is right drops and lack of runnning backs killed NL last night on O. Wardrup threw the ball great he had a couple of picks, one he was running for his life the other was fourth down that worked just like punt after not finding anyone open. Hats off to PC, but I NL refused to tackle last night. Their weren't any cases of NL getting manhandled or drove off the ball, but when QB or RB would make a cutback the LB and DB's just wouldn't/couldn't tackle their backs. NL has to turn into Clay Co. fans next week as they travel to PCC, to have any shot at the playoffs.

Just a rumor but I keep hearing Dudley Hiltons named mention for the job. But it seems like every job opening you hear Hiltons name. Any info?

I love this idea, when I heard that kentucky was moving to a 6 class system this was what I assumed would happen, but like usual I was wrong. Ram is this for fun or do you plan to submit this as a proposal to the KHSAA?

I think if we downsize by one class and make a five class system with the large schools and sucessful schools that want to be in the class 5A making up a smaller class than the other four kentucky football would be much better. Also to make the regular season meaningful decrease the number of teams that make the playoffs from four to two. In my opinion this would remedy the problem.

I tell you what since you know so much about this NL team and football in general, why don't you go to coach abbott and offer him some advice, heck maybe even apply for a assistant coaching position. Instead of criticizing him, his coaching staff, and his players. This forum isn't so you can get on here anomously and rip people without giving up your identity, it for people who "care" about particular programs to discuss thier team and pickup info about whats going on in their area and state in high school sports. And as person who is very close to this program and its players "the other kid" doesn't have a great or isn't a better QB than wardrup, he is a great kid who has talent who is much better suited to play WR.

They added Greg Parrott as an assistant, and Kelly Collier as an assistant.

Would you please get off Wardrups back, if you don't like him as a quarterback that is fine but it looks like that is who the NL coaching staff has decided to go with as their quarterback. It seems like every week I open up the NL thread and you are on here bashing the kid and I'm tired of reading it.

After watching Lewis last season and early this season he is a very talented QB but I don't think this seasons tigers are near as good as last seasons. I think NL offense gets back on track and wardrup and company will have a big game. NL has played some tough competition the past two weeks and I don't think clay is as good as SL or Cov. Holy Cross. Its early August and SL has already canceled a freshmen game with rival NL. Anyone know anything about this?

First off who is Smith? Second wardrup is a great athlete who needs to be playing quarterback, his talent is very raw, and he needs to work a little on his mechanics but he still should be the quarterback. If wardrup is playing RB then he and his athleticism are going to be accounted for, but at quarterback he isn't always at quarterback. Also IMO his style of running isn't what a team like north wants at RB.
