Pineville 46 North Laurel 42

Good win for Pineville; it's always tough to beat North Laurel at home.

Don't know much about the game, but this is a big win. 23 wins makes this the most wins Pineville has got in a single season, so thats nice to see. Also beating North Laurel means this group of seniors have beat everyone in the region at least once except for South Laurel, who they haven't had an opprotunity to play.

Pineville played poorly today....if they play like this in the post season then it will be the last game of the season for the Lions.....Lynn Camp has to feel pretty good about an upset based on the game today.

This group of seniors should already had a record win season during their sophomore year, but Lynn Camp upset them in the first round of districts. I really doubt they are going to let Lynn Camp do the samething to them again. Playing poorly could be a result of many factors, not handling the Saturday game well, or going for win #23 getting to them. And about today's game being a reason for a team to feel good about an upset, that could be said about any team. Just try to be positive to a team that has overcame so much when they do something good like what they accomplished today (even though it doesn't seem like it was too pretty).

I agree, North Laurel missed a ton of easy shots in the first half. Pineville played about as bad as they can play and still found a way to win.....just make sure you do not play that way again the rest of the way. Best of luck to the Lions.

After watching the game, it's hard for me to see Pineville winning the 13th Region crown.

I agree, but I was impressed with their big man. Seems like Strange gets most of the hype but the Day kid really impressed me.

I love how you all are giving up on Pineville. They are the same team that almost beat Corbin last week. The same team that took Knox Central to OT this week. The same team that beat: Cumberland, Clay Co., Bell Co., and everyone else in the region they have played besides the two teams I mentioned ealier. They had a bad game, big deal. Give them the respect they deserve for once. The Villager is right. They have overcame a lot of obstacles this season. Obstacles no other team in the region has faced to my knowledge. Proving you all wrong will just be another obstacle for them to master.

Go Lions! Congrats on setting a new school record of number of wins during a season!
