Family 4 Ever

Based off of weather and draw. LC could pitch their ace twice! They play the first game tomorrow and then the weather is supposed to get bad late tomorrow and not clear up until Thursday. Could be the worst thing for the other teams. Don't forget that Scott Co beat LC in the reagular season. 11th region is always a good tourney so this should be no different.

According to this thread, only 3 of the 6 state champions have received their rings. Is this the case? Do all of the schools have their rings now and just the 3 have placed pictures on this thread?

If Fayette can't get over themselves and hire coach "A", then they will continue to play second fiddle to the schools in the big Ville! Any school should hire the most qualified person, regardless of their blood lines or ties to a system. Good luck to the kids at Dunbar, I hope your school system stands up for you all!

JJ also was an assistant at Lexington Catholic a while back.

Thats huge! The west has dominated this sport forever. Whats even more amazing is the fact that the NKY region was the most "anti" opponent of fast pitch when the switch was made. Great to see that they can have that success in a region where slow pitch was Queen.

Nick Maronde for Lex Cath is by far the best in the state. Struck out 9 straight agains Tates Creek the other day, had 12 K's in his second win of the season.

Your not the only team that has not gotten them. Seems like it is taking forever for teams to get their rings.

Stick Letton is their starting free safety. He is a 3 year starter at that spot.

It would be great if all 6 of the champions could post pictures of their rings.

Didn't they lose some coaches? Will this hurt them?

Bet the football coaches are glad to see the Basketball team in the sweet 16! Got them a chance to not be back on the practice field so quick.

They have a new head coach, and will have to replace their QB, should be interesting. What are their options at that position and how many other impact players will they need to replace?

Did they lose a lot from last years team?

Learning how to pick up the blitz will help them a lot. They had a great year but the blitz seemed to give them problems in the finals.

Well, they sure aren't dodging any competition are they.

Just curious why Fayette county has employed 2 officials for girls games but 3 for boys games... Isn't that a violation of title 9?

Not many teams running the triple option in central ky now a days, should be fun to see it back in action... thanks Nets

What type of O&D does he run. Will he be able to do that with the kids at West? Good luck to him and his team, he will have an up hill climb.

Lexftball I was wondering the same thing. For example the TC/Lafayette situation. I assume that Harmon is already over at TC running his off season, so who is running Lafayette? Will Harmon be working at TC or will he keep his job at Lafayette?

Those are very nice looking!! When will they be getting them? Gold or Lustrium?

Why does the KHSAA not provide enough medals for all. That is the second team I have heard that had to purchase more to give to ALL of their team. That seems like a small cost to pay for a lifetime of memory. Bet all the basketball kids get a medal!!!

Larry French is the roots of that coaching tree. Chuck worked for Larry and learned a lot about the Defense that took them to the carpet 6 straight years. Larry will be very close to the same thing as Chuck. Boyle will be fine with him. Lincoln is going to lose a great coach after a short time, thats ashame.

Gerad played there a while ago. He is currently a GA for UK. Great young football coach with a big future.

Gamer, you make great sense. Harmon did a great job at Lafayette and if he can match that at TC, the city could be in trouble. There is a lot of talent in that school, he will have to get guys out of the halls and onto the field. I hate how much talent is walking the halls, not playing this great sport. Harmon will get them out, he does a good job of that.

I agree totally with your statement. I think he will have to put together a good staff at TC because he may miss some things due to his Horsemen responsiblities. He will have to have guys that he can trust to carry out his mission daily if he will not be there all the time. It has to be tough to coaching 2 teams with the overlaping schedules.
