From Ryan Ernst of the enquirer:

Ryle is ranked 20th in the USA Today Super 25 national rankings, up three spots from last week. The Raiders, who have reached the Kentucky state finals the past two seasons, also are ranked No. 1 in the state coaches association poll.

Ryle is 8-0. It is coming off a 7-0 victory over Conner, the second-ranked team in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky coaches' poll.

Congrats to the Lady Raiders.

Thats huge! The west has dominated this sport forever. Whats even more amazing is the fact that the NKY region was the most "anti" opponent of fast pitch when the switch was made. Great to see that they can have that success in a region where slow pitch was Queen.

WOW! Way to go Lady Raiders! (one game at a time, though!)
