St Patrick 70 Bracken County 38
I think this Saturday's game with Clark Co and St pat will clear up who should be considered #2 in the region at this point of the year! Like I said on another thread, the 10th region seems to be wide open with at least 4 teams able to make a run.

Mason County 50 Clark County 47
Awful early to be making any predictions on who is #1 or #2 or even #3 in this region, especially with the injury of player on Montgomery. I see this as wide open as its ever been in a while throwing Montgomery,St pat, Mason, Scott in the mix of potential region semifinalists at this point with Clark co still having a chance!

Mason County 54 Holy Cross 52
I think the Ledger poll has already established who is considered the front runner at least for our district, with Mason Co jumping ahead of St patrick in the polls. I dont know who votes in the polls, but where I come from, you would think there would be some thought in how these teams finished last year and what each had coming back. It"s a sad thing that these two teams will not meet, but only in the district and that may not happen depending on draws.

Top 10 Players In The 10th Region Next Year?
Is Manship's younger brother transferring from St pat also?

St. Patrick 72 Mason County 39
In terms of Coach Douglas coaching, I would tend to agree with IMO. Also, if you look at the stats, you see where the bench had 26+ points last night and I believe with a 8 to 9 man rotation and this team has lost some big leads during this season, so if there was a time to leave a team in and talk about maintaining intensity and not laying back, this game hopefully was a lesson for that

Mason County vs. St. Patrick Predictions (39th District Tournament)
Saints by 15+, nothing against Lady Royals, but too much experience on Saints side and with Ann Klee in the middle.

39th District Tournament
From what I have seen and heard, this is St pat's to lose this year. The experience, size, bench, and defense should be enough to carry them. There are always cinderella's this time of year, but I'm sure Coach Douglas will have these girls ready play and they seem to be on a roll since the All A and the reverse which happens to some teams after All A.

St. Patrick @ Mason County Predictions (1/26)
St pat by 15, too much inexperience in lady royal front court this year.

Thomas More Team Summer Camp 08
I heard that a team from Buckhorn came and had alot of size and won most of their games, but that the St Patrick team from Maysville won big in some games and actually lost only 1 game to Buckhorn and also beat Buckhorn.

region 10
Also look for St Pat. I've heard they are playing very well this summer in some tournaments outside the local area. Coach Douglas will have some experience coming back this year.
-
St. Patrick 2008/09
They only had one senior graduating last year and have a strong group of Freshman,Sophomore, and Juniors to support their Seniors. I think they have a good shot at district title as well as competing in all A and the 10th region tournament. Defense will be their strength.

Rate Your District/ Region For 08/09
10th region- I agree on Montgomery 39th district St pat Bracken and then Mason If drawing falls a certain way, I believe St pat and Bracken in finals with St pat winning. Too much experience returning for both of these teams vs Mason co inexperience.

Bracken County Coach for 08-09?
Millie Reule I believe was coach of the first girl's basketball team at Bracken either in 1975 or 1976 and they actually came close to going to the state I believe one year.

Bracken Co. vs Campbell Co. predictions (10th region)
Campbell by 5, homecourt advantage.
-
Bracken Co. v/s St. Pat (39 District)
I was looking more at number of turnover's on defense, not necessarily points, at least based on what the newspaper has said, but good point from this perspective also.
-
Bracken Co. v/s St. Pat (39 District)
Predict around same score as first two, st pat 54-47. St pat has turned up defense last 3 games, excluding Rowan, will be young on the bench with Payne,Mosler, and Weber out with injuries. Should be exciting game in Igloo!

Mason Freshman
Bottom line, the grade cutoff used to be Sept 1st or October 1st, and in my opinion, that is getting stretched back more and more, which gives an advantage. I've seen it at the middle school level and it's the same in high school in physical development and maturity.

Bishop Brossart Vs. St. Pat 10th Region All "A" 1/16/07
st pat by 3 in OT, 59-56

Predictions: St. Patrick at Bracken County 1-12-08
St pat 47, Bracken 44, both teams gunning for All A tune-up!!
-
Middle School State Tournament
I was surprised to only see one team from 10th region in St patrick from Maysville and I believe they finished 3rd in the tournament. Great job!
-
St. Patrick and Fleming Co. Split ORVC Tournament Championship Games
IMO, you are correct. Mason County played a very strong tournament schedule in Lexington area and some individual games including against St Pat, Bracken, etc and did not participate in any leagues. The paper must have had a misprint. thanks

Devilman's 38th and 39th 2008 Rankings Girls
I think Pendleton has a chance against Harrison and from what I've heard, St Pat may be the sleeper in the 39th. Bracken will really depend on how the freshman grow from last year to give them some depth and Mason may hurt because of lack of depth!

Top 10 10th Region Players for '07/'08
Thanks, you are correct, maybe I do have him too high, but I think he and Stenzel of Clark could be surprises this year!!
-
Top 10 10th Region Players for '07/'08
