What were the questionable calls? Please elaborate if it is a rules interpretation or just your judgement did not agree with the officials judgement.

That is not correct because the agreement is to work a full baseball game in varsity which means there has to be a winner. The J/V agreement is to work 5 and only 5. In today's world this would be a lawsuit.

You cannot penalize the pitcher for the batter stepping out. The pitcher either throws the pitch or he stops and it is an official do over.

One thing to think about is that if the game goes longer than it should have and a player gets hurt the umpires are the first to get the lawsuit. It is bad to think about but insurance companies are making this a reality.

It is very doubtful that Beechwood is recruiting period and especially not traveling to TN for a football player. I am not sure where you are from but Beechwood has plenty of feeder programs that they do not need to recruit. Let the record show I am not a Beechwood fan but I have a little common sense about high school football in NKY.

Bell County comes to mind. They do good in Eastern Ky but then cannot get past the semi finals. If they are satisfied with the Semis every year then they are not overrated.

In my opinion Hyder was not a good hire. Coach Schlarman built up a program and when they hired the Coach Hyder they throw away everything that had been in place.They need to clean house and bring in a coach from the outside. Newport has the potential to bring a title home one day, they will not be doing it with the current coaching staff.

If you are talking Bell Co, they will not be winning one anytime soon. They did a good job getting away from the Northern KY schools but they found another monster from Lexington. Sorry Dudley, may have to try and find another class to play in.

I have a feeling that with the new format Beechwood and Lex Cath will be winning a lot of titles.

Whatever happens at Scott it would be a good idea to clean house of all personel. Nothing has worked so cleaning house could not hurt the program. A newness would create an excitment at Scott. Other schools have been able to build a program from the ground up. Looking at other sports at Scott you can tell they have the athletes in the school.

Coaching 101, Get the points! It was a very bad decision. A college coach would lose his job over a decision like that. The fans and kids talked him into it.

Mr Scroggins should have this hands down. Hats off to the Central coaching staff.
