IMO class AAA and class A are the weakest classes.

In High School a player is only an eligible receiver by postion & number. No reporting in as eligible.

I was talking to a local official who told me that NKY is losing a lot of good refs including quite a few crew chiefs. That's a concern if you're a fan/player/coach. Its my understanding that part of it is due to NKY playing JV games on Saturday mornings which I would assume is not very desirable for an official who just worked Friday night. Sorry about that.

In NKY this statement does not hold true. Officials have been successful and moved on to the college ranks and just a couple have retired.

In the 7th they are down by one and the lead off kids hits a double so they have number two up in the batting order and don't bunt he takes 4 pitches 2 strikes 1 ball and a hanging curve ball STRIKE THREE. Next kids hit into a hard ground out the the second basemen next guy grounds out to short game over. Smart baseball wins championships!
