Couldn't agree more, he looked great. It's good to have him as a safety with his experience and speed. What I must be missing is how he isnt involved in the hunt for Qb any longer? As far as I can see this is still a four horse race, and three of the four did not get the same opportunity based on the scrimmage format.

Roger Bacon did not look very strong to me. CCH's offense will not run better without Buckley.

CSHS81, Sorry if I hit a nerve. Wasn't talking about the attributes of any one QB or the difference between 1 and 2. Regardless of the number, pass completion was low against a weak defense. Just stating my opinion that CCH passing is not as strong as it has been in the past and with Buckley out that is going to hurt. Hope this clears it up some

Any work on Buckley? Hate to see that happen to anyone, especially a senior.

Hope Buckley is back soon. This would be a big blow for cch, as their passing game did not look that strong. My count had them 4 for around 16 in passes. On the other hand, their running game was much better and the o-line held better. Defense looked strong again, but Roger Bacon didn't impress me much offensively or defensively.

Furnish has not been working out at qb so far. Although he has speed, he does not have the arm that Isler has. Isler has the size, a cannon for an arm and does have qb experience. If it were not for being injured last season, he would have been the varsity backup from what I have been told. Wehry is a great kid, but lacks the size.

What about Isler? He is 6'4 and has the beef plus should be healthy this season. He seemed to play more than Lampl last year towards the end of the season.

Is this the kid who plays basketball for CCH? Heard he had strong JV season and if given a chance should be a contender for SS or 2nd. Has he gotten any bigger?

It is showboating and it has no place in HS sports. BTW this is not the first time this has happened this season. Agree it doesn't warrant a player being hit but maybe benched.

Can't wait to see the court battles this will bring on. Lots and lots of what ifs. Who is really being served by this rule--student athletes? I think not.

Having watched CCH among many other teams last season, I think it's a bit of a stretch to put any player at a level above all the talent in the 9th region. Maile, while a great power hitter, behind the plate did not have the mechanics to be considered the best catcher in the area. Wasnt there another freshman that caught at the varsity level, or was it only JV?

Look for a physical game. Expect both teams to be ready and pump. CCH has too many weapons for HHS to match. CCH by 15.

CCH will start the Monday after the basketball season ends. Not sure what new coach will do.

CCH has too much firepower. But Connor could keep it close for a couple quarters.
