Great game. Difference was CCH got out muscled and out rebounded on both offense and defensive boards. Neither team played defense very well. To stop Holmes put backs you have to box them out--it is possible.

True. Would expect Seth Tepe to be the anchor this coming year.

Nutini has to be included in the outfield, Isler at first, and I think Shover will be in the mix at second or ss by mid season.

I will give you that Isler hit fifth alot, as well as batting fourth at times. I do not remember Adams or Darner hitting at all on a regular basis.

I know for a fact Isler hit in the four hole for most of the second half of the season.

Cody had a solid summer. Ball State needs a CF and he fits the bill. He can hit for power and has the speed to run out almost anything.

Grimes for CCH has to be near the top also.

Think Shover deserves more credit. He runs the offense and is very selective on his shoots. He is like 52% on three's so I think he makes a good case for being on the the top shooters in NKY. State??????

Isler, Nutini and Sainola should all be in the 80's for CCH. Maile would be another if used as a pitcher.

Great win for the Colonels. This will turn a lot of heads down state. Maile put the team on his shoulders for about a 3 min period in the second half and ignited the team.

HHS players were well prepared and focused--Great win and good luck. I bleed CCH blue and feel that HHS played the entire game with class. CCH seniors great careers and you have a banner on the wall at CCH for a state championship you helped win. HHS bring it home to NKY and we will see you next year.

Cody has all the tools and numbers but does he have enough support around him to set him apart from the others. On a side, pitching doesn't seem to carry much weight in POY tallies.

Gotta think Nutini and Isler will play into the picture after watching both start for the Colonels this summer. Both had a great summer.

Congrats to the Colonels and Coach Brossart on a great win. The goal line stance is one that will be talked about for years.
