Who is the best defender in the state?

Might just be Darius Miller. His length just creates havoc trying to pass on him or get around him. Great shot blocker as well. I haven't seen anyone better, but I haven't got to watch alot of teams play yet.

I would second that! I've seen both and Henderson brings a bit more tenacity everytime down the floor.

Henderson/Holmes- after watching him lock down South Laurel's PG last year in the state tourney, I was convinced.

Brandon Rash from Montgomery Co is also a very good defensive player.

Arnez Henderson of Covington Holmes and Shelvin Mack of Bryan Station are the two best I have seen in Kentucky.

I agree he can lock down anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Grimes for CCH has to be near the top also.

What makes Henderson so tough is there are about 10 other kids who play for this Holmes team that are as quick and pressure as good as any team I've seen this year. This allows Henderson to lock down even more knowing if by some miracle he gets beat there will be someone getting his back just a notch below him.
