Maybe when he plays hard. He has all the physical talents in the world but doesn't always use them on the defensive end. Unless Darius is playing hard, he isn't even the best defender on his team.

 

I agree with you on this one. He is a great player, but will have to improve his D for the college level next year.

No doubt in my mind Henderson and Miller are the best. But I give Arez the title as the best defender. He is so quick, jumps so high, and makes it seem like you are being double teamed.

Not really sure, but would like to know. Ya know, the way BCG stresses DDD, would UK, or should UK consider someone like Henderson as a possible walk-on? I realize he's probably a mid-major type player at best, as far as over all game is concerned, but when you have a player who takes such pride in playing D, and does a darn good job at it, those guys don't come around very often. I know College and high school are like night and day, but I've watched a few guys on the current UK roster for three plus years now that still struggle playing D. And Arrez isn't to shaby on offense either.

Actually, I hope he finds a nice fit, and gets a full ride some where. He is a very deserving young man.

Henderson/Holmes- after watching him lock down South Laurel's PG last year in the state tourney, I was convinced.

 

Thats right I was at that game Ty Proffit was the PG who is at Notre Dame now. Proffit only scored 12 points which all came in the 4th quater.
