  1. You said it yourself one can never count out Bville in the post season and this one will be on their home court. IMO if (and its a big if) the Tigers upset KC I won't be suprised. They have done it before.
  2. I thought HC would win this one hard to beat the experience on the bench for the Bears. Bell never really got it going this year.
  3. IMO not a big upset at all. Both coaches are two of the best around, James David Strange may be the best overall player in the region, other than him the talent is better at Bville (not great, just better overall). I think after watching both teams the last two nights I think the Tigers can upset KC. Should be a battle thats for sure.
  4. I agree Coach Wilson is a top level coach and gets everything out of his players, he got everything out of this team as well. I don't see them ever being tough unless they add several better players. How is OBI's gym size holding up for the fans?
  5. Replace "fool" with genius and I will agree, South has improved tons since he and his notepad have been there, as for scouting for 2018 wouldn't put it past him.:scared:
  6. Bell never got it going this year like many thought they would, I going with HC 54 to 48.
  7. Terrible news, they are in my prayers, hope this turns out better than it sounds.
  8. Coach Parsons seems to be a fine person and a very good coach. I think having Coach Martin as an assistant the last couple of years has been a positive as well. Good Luck in the finals. Will the boys and girls be on the same night? If so man what a crowd at W'burg!
  9. I agree with you that woman must have been sitting about a foot away from their mikes and she was really loud, wouldn't it be a funny sight to let her go down on the floor and officate a game:banana: she may not be so sure of all the calls then. Should be another barnburner between the Hounds and Cards in the final.
  10. The crowd may be a factor but South has been in this type of atmosphere many times before. Should be a fun time.
  11. Can Whitley really be the top in the 50th next year? Corbin and South both return several very good players (St. John and Madison Johnson among others) and will be tough again.
  12. I agree with you on Red Bird being weak, I believe the old St. C teams were bad and they would beat Red Bird by 10 or more. No matter how good a coach one is (John D. is a very good one) you have to have some players.
  13. Last meeting KC 105 LC 72 (33 point difference) I don't think they will score as much this time but KC should still put up some points. KC 83 LC 60. How young is Pennington seems like he's been there 7 or 8 years.
  14. Whitley could pull an upset (not likely) South by 10.
  15. You got that right; a huge favorite in the 51st if they were there.
  16. Alot of times home court is a huge advantage, but in this case the talent level of Corbin by far overcame any home court advantage. Corbin should be on a mission that ends at Rupp.
  17. Why not? The Jackets have a good team and beat them once this year. W'burg sure plays in one tough district for a small school. They had a fine year.
  18. He is only a JR. I think the award goes to a SR.
  19. I agree Crawford does alot for the Hounds and is a good player, but Strange has to be consisdered he sure gets alot done and has no where near the players around him like Crawford. Either would be a good choice.
  20. Three of these are well known to me but I can't figure out who Reed is? Does the 13th have a MVP award?
  21. I for one wish all levels would use the half-circle line like the NBA has IMO this would leave no doubt between a block and charge when the player is going to the basket.
  22. Just what I was thinking as well, I would guess those three have less than a dozen wins between all three put together. I feel bad for Coach Wilson at Red Bird a very good coach with the weakest group of high school boys I've ever seen. I see their district is at OBI how will they get more than 400 or 500 fans in that place?
