Thats a shame they couldn't play twice in the regular season. It so important for seeding even though being a 2 or 3 seed doesn't really matter that much. Bell seems to be playing better right now. I think they will pull out a close one.

Bell never got it going this year like many thought they would, I going with HC 54 to 48.

The game with Bell that wasn't played was @ Bell, so Harlan County wasn't the team that didn't play. YFI Harlan County drove down that night and was @ the Gym. As far as Whitley, Harlan did have to cancel that one because of sickness. Not enough players to play and had 8 in the hospital? It was bad because it was Whitley's senior night but it was just something that was beyond the Bear's control. Harlan County had another classic they didn't get played because of weather across the mountain and wasn't made up from the school who was putting on the tournament. Add that to the fact that we were already short a couple of games before we even started because we couldn't get anybody to play? Same problems we had in football. Maybe year number 2 will go a little better as far as our schedules!

It was when we had the high winds and storms. We drove down there and the gym was black. No power and couldn't play. It wasn't anybody's fault just one of those things!

No electric in the gym @ Bell is a good reason to cancel in Feb. This could be a good game. I think Bell Co. has better talent in the starting five, but Harlan Co. does play very hard.

They only cancelled one game that I know of and that was Whitley Co. Talking to one of the players he told me that they only had 4 kids that could go to Whitley because of the flu. Maybe they should have been like Hickory on Hoosiers and played with 4 players.::lol::thumb: I went to the Bell game @ Bell and waited in the parking lot for 2 hours because the electric was off. I guess you can not blame that one on the bears. Lets try and just focus on the district game. Regular season games get cancelled every year. I do not think Bell Co. Coach Morris or Harlan Co. coach Mike Jones would cancel a game if they did not have too.

I drove to Bell that night and so did the Harlan County bus. Were they supposed to play in the dark? Did Bell fake the power outage?

I just got home from Church and caught the end of this one on the radio!!!!!!!!!! Bears by 1 in a barn burner!!!!!!!!!
