Man, I missed it by one point. Darn it.

Nice win for the Cards.

The Wright and Denney show continues for at least another week.

Might be the Denney and Wright show according to alot of folks in the area. I could hear only one voice on the radio near the South bench...it did have a Southern draw to it.

LOL. Now that's funny right there Bubba.

Congrats to the Cards, it should be a heck of a 50th district final!

I was listening on the radio and the main voice I could hear was a lady sitting close to the announcers who rather loudly disputed every call against South Laurel and every non-call against Whitley. Dave and Dave were having a hard time calling the game over her, so I just turned if off.

From what I could gather from their broadcast though, if Whitley Co. could have hit some outside shots, they may have pulled the upset.

You're exactly right. If Whitley Co. could have thrown one in the ocean we may have seen them in the finals on Friday.

However, I would be remise not to give SL credit for doing what they had to do to win the game.

Exciting matchup on Friday.

I agree with you that woman must have been sitting about a foot away from their mikes and she was really loud, wouldn't it be a funny sight to let her go down on the floor and officate a game:banana: she may not be so sure of all the calls then. Should be another barnburner between the Hounds and Cards in the final.

I hate that it was hard to hear them because Dave and Dave do a very good job in covering the games!

Denney is a scouting fool. Someone said they saw him at the Corbin Elementary recess the other day with his notepad getting ready for the 2018season.

That is a good one Leonidas.
