If it weren't for the internet and sites similiar to this one ,a lot of these kids would never be known. I am and always have been a big basketball fan and stayed pretty well on top of things in the 10th and 16 regions but if it weren't for this site I wouldn't know much about the individual players mentioned from time to time. Sure hate to hear that about Evan. After watching Clark Co play all year I see him as a class person, on and off the floor. I've gotten to know his parents and find them to be very fine people. :thumb:

I always had a lot of respect for Jerrod Litzinger.He was a key player for the Royals. I remember at the 10 th region banquet , he gave the opening prayer. That told me a whole lot about him. Great hustle and attitude. :banana:

Where will the district be played?

What teams are in Rose Hills district and where will it be played. Is the 16th regional still played at Morehead. Want to go watch them when I can.

I thought in Ky basketball, everybody was out to get everybody every time they went on the floor. Why do you think Rose Hill is any different from anyone else.:confused:

Cov.Cath was one of the best coached teams I've seen this year.Probably worked as a team as well as any I've seen. Smart and a great passing team and none seem to be selfish. Not like some other teams I watch .They're good to watch and I enjoyed them very much. Scott Co has a great team with great talent.:thumb:

I"m a class guy too but could never coach much.What's class got to do with coaching. When you have a 17 point lead and playing great and sub 4 players from the dead end of the bench at one time and blow that lead down to 11 in 2 minutes , that's not the smartest move in coaching. I see coaches do it in grade school, middle school and high school and I wonder why. If a high school kid can't play 32 minutes without getting tired , let me have him for two weeks and he'll be able to run all night. You know it takes about 2 1/2 hours to play a game so he's resting about 2 hours and playing 32 minutes.All this subbing is a trend .Throw away those t.v.s and get those dumb college trends out of your minds. The reason they sub so much , they're all select players. Of course you have those kind of high schools in Ky too, I can name about 20. agree:dancingpa

The only thing I saw that I wondered about was the press defense with a 40 point lead. I didn't quite understand that. It doesn't seem that Clark Co is playing even close to the way they were in Dec.

Played about 1/2 the game --in and out a lot-- shot a few times and missed.

The Tollesboro--Lewis Co game was always a big rivalry as far back as I can remember(early fifties) .The talk of consolidation the year before consolidation was so bitter that the games had to be called off because of threats. To me ,it was always a fun game. I loved them :argue:
