  1. Congratulations to the Rose Hill team . Good WIN.:dancingpa
  2. Best of luck Rose Hill. I'd like to see that game but we also play at 3:oo.
  3. That's called 'SHOW TO WIN'. I sure hope he's on. If not?:dancingpa
  4. I know and I'm sorry.I should have made this a new thread .The subject has really bothered me .
  5. The reason the Mason Co program is up and will stay up is because they're pretty particular who coaches their grade and middle school programs. They hire qualified coaches at all levels who know and teach fundamentals. A lot of the other programs that I am familiar with will let just about anyone coach that wants to not knowing diddly squat about basketball and people wonder why they aren't prepared when they reach the high school level. A lot of the superintendents don't have any interest in sports and that's the big let down. They simpley don't care. Don't blamb the boys , it's not their fault for not knowing the fundamentals of basketball or how to play.:fight:
  6. Clark Co --Bennett 13, Hatton 12, knowles 10, Stenzel 7, Bergman 6, Lewis 5, Wood 3, Rogers 2, Ridgeway 2---64 Bourbon Co--Sosby 10, Kennedy 10, Coons 7, Mccombs 4, Lynch 3, Wigglesworth 3, Graham 2, Rankin 2.--41
  7. EL GATO .The only thing I can figure out about you is that you must be the architect of that new gym .
  8. I hope Montgomery Co gets a regional tournament and see how it works out. If it works out have more there--thats fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. You sound angry. Need to ease up a little. We all have opinions , you have yours and I have mine. Sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Yes , I was there when Clark Co played Montgomery and stood outside 5 minutes in a very cold wind to get in to buy a ticket. I don't really care where the regionals are played, it's nothing to me, but if I go to a game I don't want to watch it on TV in the lobby.I did not say the facilities weren't nice but I like Mason's better. You have really a nice facility and I'm glad for you.:argue:
  11. I also knew a Joe Baker who played at Hazard in the late 50's. Anyone know anything about Joe. I played college ball with him at Middle Tennessee.
  12. WHAT ABOUT "ICE MAN" LARRY JORDAN.
  13. I don't live in Mason or Montgomery Co but Mason Co has the better facilities and larger gym and is better to watch a game in. More than likely , Montgomery Co could hold every crowd in the regional tournament (with split sessions) but probably would have to turn people away on the final game. Even Mason Co has had to turn people away at a final game a few years back. I know it's not fair for Mason Co get the regional tournament every year because it gives the home court advantage . Next year it won't matter because Mason CO will be a sure thing to go to the state tournament, regardless where the tournament is played. And another thing , it seems that Montgomery Co should have had this in mind when the gym was built. And something else , I'm not a specialist on butt sizes but as soon as you walk in the two facilities you can tell Mason is larger just by looking. :argue:
  14. I remember when that good looking guy on the right once played for Lewis CO.:dancingpa
  15. Bob Wright was a great coach at Lewis Co and at Ashland.:thumb:
  16. And you could also say that the year before when they won it all that they probably would have been beaten if the good, big , boy from St Henry hadn't gotten hurt. A little luck goes a long way. The word ,IF ,is over used. :ylsuper:
  17. When you're very talented you pick up a lot of relatives. :thumb: :dancingpa
  18. I always thought Jeff Hall was a very good coach even if he hadn't made it to the sweet sixteen.:ylsuper:
  19. Yes , you can always expect a good crowd from Mason Co. They probably have the best support of any team in the state ,home and away.:dancingpa
  20. I've seen both teams play this past week and both teams are playing well. Mason plays better at home and with Clark, it doesn't seem to matter. Mason does have a height advantage. Could be a good game.:ylsuper:
  21. Play the best , even if they're in the second grade. The only ones who don't understand this are the parents of the older kids. It causes a lot of problems from the group of people and parents whose kids are older sitting on the bench and younger kids are playing. It also takes a lot of courage for the coach to do this realizing there is going to be a lot of criticism from those people.Small schools don't have much choice.:ylsuper:
  22. Some people are just too darn serious. I always enjoyed a good sense of humor. I know and you know there won't be a ball game and endanger lives if there's a lot of snow. Just kidding----------:ylsuper:
  23. I LIKE YOUR RESPONSE--THAT'S GOOD--
