Good win for Fraley's young Royals. Anytime you can beat a quality opponent in a tight contest this late in the season you got to call it a good win. But, I'm sure Fraley isn't completely happy, no coach ever is.

Good win for the Royals ending the losing streak. I'm not sure how good Symmes Valley out of Ohio is, but the rest of the Royals schedule are winnable games. Would be great to see them go into districts on a winning streak.

It was good to see Dakota playing inside out. If he keeps banging and playing more physical and aggresive underneath then RH will be in the hunt, if he stays on the three point line all game then it will be a very short tournament.

 

By starting out under the basket, it is harder to guard him. And it will also free him up more to shoot the three. The Young Guns looked very impressive in spurts, but need another ball handler besides Chad. Anytime you are being pressed full court you want to move the ball up the court and hopefully be moving it to the middle of the court. RH at times (Not a lot but a few times) moved the ball backwards, almost passing the ball underneath the other teams basket just to get the ball to Chad, that is a very dangerous pass to make. The other guards must step up their ballhandling and take care of the ball. Over all, IMO, RH played a great game and withstood the run by LCA late in the game. Fraley has the Young Guns playing aggresive Defense.

 

I cant wait til tourney time.

Congrats to the Royals on the win. As Big Bubba said, tournament time should be an interesting and exciting time. By the way Big Bubba, when are the Fat Man Olympics? I'd like to enter a few events myself.

Good win for the Hill. LCA are a well coached team and can find the open man with the hot hand. I don't know his name but #15 can light it up. This should help Rose Hill prepare for the Districts.

LCA has a losing record but they play a much more demanding schedule that do teams in the 16th Region. They would fare well in this area.

#15 is Jeremy Hobbs a senior, and had a good game. LCA actually had a chance to win the game when they had the ball with 12 seconds to go and down by one point, but took an ill advised 3 pointer when only needing two points to take the lead. Rose Hill got the rebound and was fouled. Going to the line for 2 shots (10th foul) the shooter missed the first shot and second shot with 3 seconds remaining, but LCA failed to block out the shooter and he got the rebound and was fouled again. Going to the line with one second he made both free throws. LCA actually outscored Rose Hill in the second, third and fourth quarters, but they just didn't score enough to make up the first quarter deficit. Now Rose Hill never lost the lead but had it slowly erroded thoughout the game. Rose Hill played a good game and deserved the win. The LCA kids were really dejected having lost another close game. Their schedule this year is the toughest in school history. Hopefully this will prepare them for next year, as their schedule will only be more difficult. Dakota was a force and scored 22 points, Jeremy Hobbs led LCA with 19 points.

This was a nice win for Rose Hill. LCA made several nice comebacks from 15 point deficits and almost pulled it out. Rose Hill played well in spurts. They need to pass the ball better and cut down on their turnovers. If they do so, I think they can compete well at tournament time.
