Jeff Hall is the only coach that I know of to take two (2) different teams from the 16th Region to the State Tournament. Are there any others that have accomplished this?

Nobody currently coaching in the 16th has done that. However, Mike Flynn (Now at Bourbon) has taken 3 different teams to the state tournament.

Roger Zornes would be the closest. Boyd Co. to the State tournament and Ironton, OH to the Ohio State Championship

Zornes certainly was not very appreciated while he was coaching at Boyd. His accomplishments speaks volumes about how good he was. There have been several great coaches in this area that is for sure.

UMMM, yes he did. What kind of an Ashland fan are you? JK!!!

Onetoya is incorrect but he is also correct. Jeff took Ashland to the big dance but it was in Freedom Hall not Rupp.

He took Ashland to 2 States Tourney's 92 and 93. Breeden in 94 lost in Regional finals to Boyd Co.

I always thought Jeff Hall was a very good coach even if he hadn't made it to the sweet sixteen.:ylsuper:
