Darius Miller is the difference maker
Tubby did Chris a big favor by not signing him. His time playing would have been limited and would probably had him completely ruined by now.Chris made the right choice. I love to watch Tennessee play and if Ky would be on TV at the same time I would watch Tennessee.:thumb: :ylsuper:

Take Miller out and either Clark or Brossart will be in the State Tournament. That's how important I think he is to his team.:thumb:- Mason County 61 Bishop Brossart 49
Mason has a fine team and will be very hard to beat ,especially at home , but Clark and Brossart also play very good at times.- Mason County 61 Bishop Brossart 49
If it hadn't been such a bad 1st quarter for Brossart if would been one close game. Brossart can play with with any team in the 10th region.- Parents???
In all my years of coaching high school basketball, never ever had a closed practice or never saw the need for a closed practice.:ylsuper:- Mason County 61 Bishop Brossart 49

Sure enjoyed watching Miller play tonight. He's one heck of a ball player. He did it all tonight ,assists, rebounding, scoring, and ball handling.:ylsuper:- Parents???
I started coaching in 63-64 and my salary was 4750 dollars and I coached 7-8 th grade, frosh, JV and varsity basketball and high school baseball and only had 27 dollars in the athletic fund. Just before the first varsity game I bought a new Rawlings RSS bassketball to use as a game ball. I coached for 21 years and after the 6th year I was given a grade school coach and had an assistant the last 3 years . I never got any free clothing , shoes or anything. I was fortunate in having a lot of good ball teams from good old farm and small town boys. I had very few problems with boys or parents. Good common sense prevents a lot of problems. Most problems are caused by thoughtless acts. I see less and less fundamental coaches out there and kids just don't know how to play and that 3 point line hasn't helped a lot either. Because of all the problems created by parents ,good coaches are leaving all that hassle and the administration will let just about anyone coach these young kids and a lot of them don't know diddley-squat. I see it as a down right shame, but what does one do. I had 2 excellent fundamental coaches in high school and one in grade school and I consider myself lucky.- Parents???

I coached high school varsity basketball for 21 years and only had three occasions where I had to have talks with parents. The first was from a parent that thought his son was getting TOO much playing time, the second was from a parent who thought I was too tough on him and the third was from a mother whose son didn't get to play a lot. I told them all ,if they want to play fine, if not quit or go somewhere else ,but it was going to be my way. I coached my son in high school and basketball wasn't mentioned ever after a game or after practice and he went on to play college ball. When he had a bad game he would be upset and go to his room and I always went in and hugged him and told him I loved him and not to worry about basketball or how he played. I would tell him that there were more inportant things out there than basketball. Today, I watch my grandsons play and have never witnessed such actions of parents in all my life. Parents , leave those kids alone and I'll bet you they will appreciate you more when they get older and they will probably perform better .- Parents???
I played 4 years of varsity ball in high school and 4 years of college ball and never once ever heard my father make a comment about the game after it was over or never once ever critized any coach that I had. He loved ball and never ever missed a game I played in high school and attended most of them in college. I look back today and I am so thankful that I had a father like that. He was great!!!!!!!!!- Brossart @ Mason Predictions

Nice win Rose Hill. I will probably be there during the district to cheer you on.Good luck.:fight:- Elliott Co 102 Fairview 98 2 OT
I wish Cameron Hall the best. He was a very good AAU player a few years ago when he played with some boys from Rose Hill and Clark Co . I watched him play a lot those years and could tell he had some promise. That game of 200 points must have been a run and gun game. Would have been fun to watch.:flame:- Mason County Senior Night
Those four seniors would make a very competitive ball team in our area . They're good players and will be missed next year. All have a competitive spirit and seem to have great attitudes.:fire:- LaFayette 83 GRC 82
I agree, I thought the teamwork was the best I've seen in a while. We had good hustle ,made some good passes, took a high % of good shots ,but was a little weak on defense(allowed too many layups) and free throw shooting was not the best . Just a few mistakes at the end cost us the game, but that happens. GREAT EFFORT:fight: - Coach of the year in the 16th
