Sad to say but I must agree that Oldham, although they don't impress, they win. One regional loss at the #1 seed (IMO) SK. The only possible problem that I think they have on their side of the bracket is Henry at home.

Nice draw for Carroll and time to regroup.

Time for GC to put on their armor and man up. Although Shelby lost their district they are probably the 2 seed and then there is the #1 seed playing the nightcap. "GO CATS"

Holmes has a-lot to prove next week and being on their home floor I believe that they will do it. All the problems suffered throughout the season will be put to rest.

SK must have looked good, sure thought WV was going to make a tougher stand.

There is nothing more pleasing to me than a good student section for girls or boys, but the student section can be great without being obnoxious and rude. I've seen these great student sections. However some schools allow their kids to be as they call it kids, but as I call it ( rude and obnoxious ). At the game that I was at tonight the student section would chant bull.... on any call they didn't like. Thankfully that would not be tolerated at our school, and taunting individual players as they did is in very poor taste.

Congrats to BB. In the end they did what they do best, WIN.

Move to the 8th Region. That way you get use to that kind of officiating.

Not a good win but a great win for the Cats. Henry is the toughest match-up they have had this year, and Henry was about 9-1 on their floor since Christmas. Congrats Cats. Good luck to both teams in the region. Henry has a classic team.

I must agree that Grant is struggling, and that might be an understatement. Walton is playing their best ball right now, even the two loses (against pretty good teams) in the last 6 games could have very well went the other way. Walton by 12.

Davis turned the game completely around with his hard nose defense and rebounding in the second half. Thanks for bringing him up Mack.

Nate played big tonight, and the rest of the team followed in line. Great effort by all. Most teams DO NOT come back on Owen. Kept the turnovers down in the final minutes and hit free throws. Something that had been absent in other Owen - Gallatin match ups.

It was gut check time for Gallatin, and they left it on the floor. Hadn't played well of late and trailed by 12 in the 3rd. quarter. Best finish of a game that they have had for awhile. Congrats Gallatin for moving on and Congrats to Owen for a great season. Sure would have like to seen them both in the regionals.

Got with-in 2 a couple of times, but just couldn't get it done. Good effort for both teams. Carroll came to play and made Henry play a little harder than (I think) they thought they would.

That is the part of high school sports that makes the heart glad. Every team needs a Josh to show what sportsmanship is all about.

Gallatin is still playing on dead legs. They have not played well since the Class "A". Hitting free throws would help, but they have won all year missing them. Getting out rebounded like they did last night will put a loss up every time. Oldham scored at least 40 points on put backs and foul shots. At least 40 probably more. Sometimes they would get 3 to 4 shots before they put it down.

It should be down to two. Jones and Duvall. Looking at the schedules they played, regardless of outcome of the district match up I would have to go with Jones to repeat. Both teams have played beyond expectations, with Gallatin playing a much better schedule.

If Carroll keeps the right combination on the floor it could be rough for Daugherty Carroll has the talent at home but do they have the heart. Have to play team ball, something that they aren't use to.

Not many shots in that range anymore. They want the 3 or the layup. Good weapon to have. Can't pick the winner but Gallatin will need to play better than they did monday.
