  1. This is more of what I expected. W-town put up a better fight than I would have thought, congratulations to both teams, and good luck. The Class 'A' should be fun to watch this year.
  2. The game was much closer than I expected, but it is still a win. Congratulations to GC.
  3. Wow! Much closer than I expected!
  4. Anyone putting updates on here tonight?
  5. I wasn't at the game, but if Henson dominated on the boards so well, wouldn't the addition of Carloton down there along side with Henson make for more domination down low?
  6. Think SC will be to much for CC. SC has a much stronger bench.
  7. Jim, I think that might be the reason the rivalry is not there yet. The BGP'ers have became sports rivals but it hasn't carried over to the kids yet.
  8. They split the regular season games in 02/03 Walton won both regular season games in 03/04 and 04/05 Gallatin won both regular season games in 05/06 and 06/07 This year should be interesting as so the next few years.
  9. Going into this season they are 5-5 against each other in regular season games but they haven't split a season since 02/03. To answer your question, they have not become the rival you would expect.
  10. Thanks Always a battle when these two meet
  11. Congratulation to Trimble. Good to see them off to a good start.
  12. All updates are appreciated
  13. Henson is a very good player. He can score with the best and is a good defender. There should be at least 6 kids on this team that are leading scorers is a game this year and that is what will make them a very good team.
  14. If they end up with a top player it will be a disappointing year. What makes them good is they play as a team and don't depend on any one player being the star. That team first attitude worked well last year and I'm sure Coach Jones will do his best to keep it team first.
  15. Henson at 6'2 or 6'3 started several games last year. Davis at 6'2 or 6'3 Maddox at about 6'4 can post up or play the point. Carlton (fresh off a great football year) is a very solid post player at about 6'1. Brown a senior will play the back-court with Jones If I'm not leaving anyone out they are the top six.
  16. Walton seems to always (reload) have a very good team for a small school. I think when it comes to Class A time it will be between Walton and Gallatin but I think Gallatin with so many players with varsity playing time will be ready for the task and win in double digits.
  17. Welcome to the site katfandew The kids being a tight group is nothing new at CC. Having good athletes has not been the problem. Haven't had a problem with coaching, just look at the girls team and you will see what I mean. The student body is one of the most faithful cheering sections (even if they do get a little out of hand at times) you will find. Yet there is a problem, a deep rooted one, been there for several years. I thought Coach Miller would get rid of it but it hasn't happened.
  18. Gallatin should walk away with a double digit win. They don't have to look to one or two for their points and they are a pretty seasoned bunch coming off of a pretty bad loss.
  19. Gallatin has a nice little team but not only are they not in Scott County's class they have to match up better to play with a higher ranked team. They will have a good year but until Maddox is healthy and they get use to playing without last years seniors, they are better off not playing ranked teams.
  20. Welcome to the site. Henry and Walton lost alot to graduation but I think Henry lost more and Walton will win this one.
  21. Thanks again, I've got to go see these kids play.
  22. Can't get it, keep the updates coming.
  23. Frankfort scores again, seconds to go. Frankfort 57 Trimble 16
