Could make for a very interesting district this year. From what I've seen so far South Oldham is the team to beat.

Final Anderson Co. is showing that they are the team to beat in the 8th region. The South Oldham game may be their best test.

Thanks for the updates guys. Walton needs to keep their heads up as the game was alot closer than the final score and was on the road. Congrats to SK. The district tourney should be fun.

No way Gallatin County is ahead of NCC or Holy Cross. After tonights games against a couple of teams that Gallatin Co. played I will have to go with Gallatin Co. Gallatin played Holmes very close late into the game and beat Newport by double digits.

Walton is 8 min away to getting back some of the respect they deserve.

I'm pretty sure Williamstown has a t.v that monitors the game in their concession stand, so you don't have to miss any of the game. I thought that was interesting.

The 8th Region is not as strong from top to bottom this year with the loss of Owen County and several teams lost several seniors. Gallatin Co. and Walton-Verona are the only two teams that are as good or better than they were last year. They are both very well coached teams and have played schedules that will have them ready to play. I think Coach Jones is having an easier time coaching this years team because it is not quite as deep. Gallatin Co. has played a stronger schedule and has won more games playing that schedule and I pick them to win the eighth with Carroll coming in second.

I would say Gallatin is the favorite for the 8th region, and a top 5 team in Richmond.
