  8. These updates are for the rest of the fans. I think all the Gallatin Co. fans are in Richmond.
  9. Gallatin Co. 51 Metcalfe Co. 39 end of 3rd
  10. Gallatin Co. 34 - Metcalfe Co. 20 at the half.
  11. I like Anderson and C.J. and will agree that they are on the top, but not hands down. Only road win against these 8 was at Shelby Co.
  12. After the last Litkenhous ratings I have to wonder. 8 teams have winning records in regional play. Anderson County 10 - 0 Gallatin County 13 - 1 South Oldham 9 - 2 Simon Kenton 6 - 3 Owen County 9 - 5 Walton-Verona 9 - 5 Shelby County 5 - 3 North Oldham 3 - 2 It is interesting that there are 2 teams from each district in these 8. Looking at their records against only each other it gets real, real interesting. North Oldham's 2 loses - at Owen Co. and at South Oldham. Shelby Co.'s 3 - at North Oldham and home to Gallatin Co. and Anderson Co. Walton-Verona's 4 (1 loss not to a team in the top 8) At SK, at Gallatin, home to Gallatin (Class A), home to Owen. Owen Co.'s 4 (1 loss not to a team in the top 8) At Gallatin, at Anderson, home to Gallatin and South Oldham Simon Kenton's 3- At Anderson, at Walton, home to Gallatin South Oldham's 2- At Shelby and to Shelby at a Neutral site Gallatin's 1- At Anderson Co. Anderson Co. - NONE Who is the best? You tell me.
  13. I have heard the Slone kid is the real deal. Anyone know much about him?
  14. I also do not know a whole lot about Metcalfe Co. but I will go with GC by 8 because they are playing awfully well right now, and almost all of those boys have played in Richmond before.
  15. I will take Gallatin by 18, and the starters sit the last four minutes.
  16. Welcome to the site. Know anyone there with a cellphone?
  17. How many kids go to the next level? The big schools that should be classed as they are in football and start 4-5 seniors would not have much trouble with a shoot clock but the smaller schools that have more underclassmen than not, would be very troubled with it.
  18. A win is a win and WV won but what an escape. Great come back and super "D" to hold on. Congrats.
  19. Cov. Cath's fans are number one in the state hands down!
  20. If the WV boys got the message, they will win by double digits.
  21. If I remember Gallatin Co. did beat Shelby Co. last year in the regional tourny after losing in OT in the regular season. Gallatin returned 5 players that started games at one time or the other last year. They have a very good team, not as deep as last years but more seasoned. Yes they can be beat but you can say that about any team, Shelby is one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the 8th but in spite of the rankings so is Gallatin.
  22. Gallatin County (13-3) - Maddox 14, T.Jones 18, Brown 10, A.Jones 3, Z.Jones 12, Henson 3. Carroll County (4-11) - Allen 2, Proctor 4, Cable 12, Yager 21, Welch 12, Hendrick 2. 3-point goals - Maddox, Jones, Cable 2, Yager 5, Welch 2. From the CJ
