Final. Owen led most of the way.

Congrats to Coach Jones and the boys!

Good season, Owen Co.

I hate to see either of these teams not make it to regionals.

Congrats - Gallatin...

I agree, L1. Both teams have had great seasons and deserved to be able to continue.

I will eat my crow broiled w/a little A-1 on the side. I did pick Owen in this game. Really it was just reverse psychology to get Gallatin fired up (just kidding).

It was a great game and victory for Gallatin. Congrats!!! :thumb:

It was gut check time for Gallatin, and they left it on the floor. Hadn't played well of late and trailed by 12 in the 3rd. quarter. Best finish of a game that they have had for awhile. Congrats Gallatin for moving on and Congrats to Owen for a great season. Sure would have like to seen them both in the regionals.

For a change Owen had the big lead in the 2nd half and Gallatin never gave up.... They sealed the deal with free throws. Owen was up 43-31 Gallatin finished final 12 minutes on 32 to 12 run... Couldn't have asked for a better game and out come... Congrats to the Coach Jones, & the WILDCATS!!!!!

Absolutely. The wildcats played for 32 minutes. Coach Jones has talked about that all year. Glad to see. Gallatin Co./Henry Co. on Henry's home floor. Should be another good one.

Agreed, Buttels. Glad to see you! Sorry that there was no Shasta in HC.

Nate played big tonight, and the rest of the team followed in line. Great effort by all. Most teams DO NOT come back on Owen. Kept the turnovers down in the final minutes and hit free throws. Something that had been absent in other Owen - Gallatin match ups.

Thanks for keeping everybody updated. I gave you a plug on the broadcast for it.

The game audio is uploading now. The 31st district webpage will be up tomorrow. I am very tired and will finish everything tomorrow afternoon.

Great game. Neeley showed why and I mentioned that he should have been player of the year. Sorry to not see him play anymore. What a spectacular player.

After giving up numerous layups to fall behind by 12, the defense was sensational the last 12 minutes of the game. Neeley only had 9 after halftime as Coach Jones once again put taller defenders on him in the 4th quarter.

Also, some prop for J.R. Davis and his excellent 2nd half.

Thanks. Believe me, I looked!!!

Davis turned the game completely around with his hard nose defense and rebounding in the second half. Thanks for bringing him up Mack.

Absolutely, J.R. has grown up so much over the past couple of years. He is passionate. Just watch him play. He's a great player too!!!
