Tight game that the Bearcats were able to break open late, mostly at the foul line

The bearcats played hard. Josh Jones stepped up and provided much needed offense. I think he finished with 21, including 3 or 4 threes in a row to give Walton the lead and provide a little separation. Roberts, Ponzer, and Linn all played well. Daugherty didn't have his best game, but was steady and a factor at the end with his overall play. Hopefully they will come out on Saturday and play well against Simon.

As always, whenever GC and WV meet, the play is very competitive. GC shot the ball extremely well in the first half. WV was able to get some key stops in the 2nd half and as well as hitting some huge 3 pointers to give them the lead for good in the 3rd quarter. GC has two nice looking young players who are going to be fun to watch over the next few seasons. Congrats to both teams on an excellent effort.

Congrats, WV. I like your post T and S. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Congrats to Walton, Better have your "A" game for the pioneers.

Was told that the two did not come to school this morning. They are both in the co-op program and were planning on just going to their co-op positions in the late morning. Coach Kinmon found out and he and the administration made the decision. Life lessons sometimes come in small scoops and other times come in large doses.

It won't make a difference if they do....SK rolls on Saturday!!

SK didn't roll the last time they played.

SK didn't roll the last time they played.

Grant you SK only beat WV by 12 the last time, but Hester didn't play in that one.

SK wins by 18+ on Saturday

Hester or not, if SK comes out with the same lackadasical attitude and effort as they did the last time against WV, then it won't be an 18 point game.

Its postseason, never rule out the upset. SK is the heavy favorite but that doesnt mean they couldnt get upset. Everyone who is still alive should be bringing their A games, but not everyone always does. SK will have to play pretty bad to lose, but they have had some suprising loses IMO this year.

I belive Hurd will not be playing Saturday which should open the inside up a little for Walton. They will need Lynn and Jones to stay hot from the outside.
