But can Walton overcome the ghost of 33rd District's past:sssh:

How about that old 33rd district. 6 of the 7 teams from that "district" will be playing in the regional tournaments.

(and it will be a couple years before a Burns puts that ghost to rest)

I remember that district, 7 teams was outrageous. The only 7 teamer in the state as far as I know.

I believe it was Walton, SK, St. Henry, Boone Co, Conner, Lloyd & Dixie

Are you kidding me!!?? Grants tallest player is 6'2!!! There is no way they match up better than Walton... The only thing they have better then Walton is guards.. Hurd would kill them.. Heck.. There JV guy Meagley would kill them.!!!

Welcome to the site Superman23!

Those 2 seniors that missed the game would not have made a difference, the team actually played under control. My question is where are the big kids at Grant, why are they not playing basketball, surelly in a high school of 1400 that they have some kids that are 6'5" & bigger wondering the hallways.

Enrollment is 1100 and no big kids in the hall.
