I have to say he will play his senior year. I don't think he would be doing voluntary conditioning just to stay in good shape. JMO

As of last year, Boone County schools released money to the new school. I do not know if something has changed this year.

Shouldn't the Buntin young lady play a role on this tears team? I seen her play in AAU and heard she went to Scott.

I have to go with HC. I was told Somerset had 8 turnovers against Glasgow in the regular season game. Glasgow won that 14-6?? If HC keeps coaching the way it is, they win.

Yes! Beyond the shadow of a doubt. I am not saying it happened in this game or against Beechwood. I was not at this game to say. I know it has happened in other games and other sports. JMO

I was sent a text from a friend about this. He got it from a tweet by Tom Leach. I hear he is a great kid. I did not think we would see any/many kids from Kentucky at UK.

Respectfully Clyde, I will have to disagree with this. What you can take from week one is the attitude and work ethic of Dixie. As someone said, same story different year. I watched Dixie go through pregame last week and witnessed what has gone on for years there. Some (I said some) of the players go through drills and stretching half hearted. There was little emotion. I did not get to see last nights game. I figured CCH would win. I was surprised at the number of points Dixie scored. A rivalry can do weird things. Playing kids both or all ways is nothing new in N.KY. Several schools have done it for years. The difference is some of the schools or players get in better shape to be able to handle it through a game. It all comes down to your attitude and work ethic to make it happen. Just because they are a big school, they can't just throw the helmets and shoulder pads out on the field and expect to win. Colin Justice is a very good player and could be one of the top players in N.KY next year as a senior. i hope his injury is minor.

I guess I missed the deal go down. I believe it would hurt him more if he had to put up a Ryle Raider avatar, or better yet a Beechwood Tiger avatar.

If I remember the roster, Dixie has no one that big. There is one kid, #64, that is decent size. He played both ways and seemed to be gassed by the 3rd qtr, if not earlier, against NCC. The middle linebacker was listed at 5'9 and 180 lbs. I do not think that will cut it against a line that big. The rivalry factor may play into though.

Unless Dixie comes up with some bigger lineman to block for Pike they are in trouble in this one. If CCH has the size I hear they do this could be similar to last week.

The Cov Cath game should have a running clock in the second half. That may shorten it some.:sssh:

Just curious, what has SK done to be known as a power house? All of the players that made them the last couple years are gone. Highlands is a power house, Trinity is a power house, St. X is a power house, SK No. Give me something to change my mind. JMO

I would guess so.The KHSAA site has a roster showing 26 players, 7 of which are freshman.
