  1. Is there much of a size difference between the lineman on these teams? I am just looking for a competitive advantage for one team. I am not familiar with them. It seems they both have real good running backs.
  2. How many teams have they played with a defense like BW'S?
  3. It looks like both teams run the ball a lot. Does either team have the defense to stop or limit the running game or will they both run wild? Will the new field make a difference?
  4. I hope ND can pull it out. I think the secondary will be challenged this week. The big boys up front to play their best game thus far. I too have an uneasy feeling this week. Go Irish!
  5. I would love to have the time to do this. My hat is off to you Ram, :notworthy:

  7. I agree also. I don't think they can play with the Bamas and such, but it has been a nice season so far. If it does come crashing down next week, as d-rob says, it is still a nice season. I can deal with this the way the last several years have been. I am sure when they lose the haters will be out in full force. People like that seem to thrive on negativity. I would be happy with a 10-2 regular season. I hate to lose to USC, and more so since Kiffin went there. Go Irish!

  9. It's funny, the number 5 team in the country gets beat by 5 touchdowns and there is 7 post in that thread. This thread now has 46. I am a ND fan, but a realistic one, if I felt he scored I would say so. It appears his elbow touches before extending the ball to me. I had a friend at the game and text him when the play occurred. I said it looked like he got in. He disagreed, which I expected. Watching the replay provided here, the elbow hits in my opinion. I also agree his forward progress was stopped long enough to stop the play. Stanford can not complain about the refs, they are from their conference. I am sure the ND haters will disagree. Don't disagree just because you don't like the school. I don't think ND has the offense to play with the big boys from the SEC, but for now they are up there. The Oklahoma game will be tough and ND better bring the offense with them to stay in that game. I hope they don't look ahead and concentrate on BYU for next week. Go Irish!

  12. Things had deteriorated because of a few players/parents. Some people can't handle a little discipline. I do not believe any of the players that chose not to play in that organization would have played for Myerhoff. They were all too old. They were told there would not be any guaranteed playing time and they went with Mullins. The team they would of played for was going to be an 18 year old team returning several players and if I am not mistaken they could all play 17's. As far as the relationship with the two, they play in fantasy leagues together that Coach Myerhoff runs. Coach Myerhoff has no bad feelings toward Coach Mullins. He was and is happy for him. Moving up through the coaching ranks is the nature of the game. These comments could not be farther from the truth.
