2 gabbard td passes and 1 td pass from trail... All went to Vinny pangallo.... Trail started cramping late in the third. When trail was in hc seemed to have that electric feel to them, he is still learning the offense to and had a few bad reads, also his receivers didn't help him out with at least 5 drops that hit them in the hands. I fully expect him to be the starter against Beechwood next week.

 

As for Conner they are good but not great. Barker and Fogle are as advertised if not better but honestly they do not have much after that. If some others step up they could really have something special

 

Before the jvs took completely over for both teams it was 53-21 Conner if that tells u anything.

 

I think hc is ready to play someone their own size after a rough 2 weeks and are gonna give Beechwood all that they can handle. Also Good luck to Conner with the rest of their season.

When you score 67, it really doesn't matter how they scored 21...

Conner won the game but they will get handled by Cooper. That was the big thing I went into this game looking for. Barker did great job with his option reads but I was not real impressed other than that and Foggle.

If I heard correctly they had almost 300 between Barker and Fogle at half.

Conner's starting running back was on the sidelines with his right foot in a boot!!!

Conner will get handled? I don't see the logic in this. Cooper and conner have both played a common opponent in Boone County and HC. Cooper scored 10 on Boone, conner scored 31. Sure Cooper shut Boone out. They only scored 19 on conner. Cooper scored 49 on holy cross, conner put up 67 with the starters coming out in the third quarter. The Cougar offense is highly explosive, can score on any play. Weren't all the doubters saying that holy cross would play with conner tonight? What happened to that?
