Regarding the "Conner only has Barker and Fogle" thinking: Did opponents used to say about Boone County "they only have Shaun Alexander?"

Conner will get handled? I don't see the logic in this. Cooper and conner have both played a common opponent in Boone County and HC. Cooper scored 10 on Boone, conner scored 31. Sure Cooper shut Boone out. They only scored 19 on conner. Cooper scored 49 on holy cross, conner put up 67 with the starters coming out in the third quarter. The Cougar offense is highly explosive, can score on any play. Weren't all the doubters saying that holy cross would play with conner tonight? What happened to that?

The logic is what I call the play test. I watched Cooper and Conner play the same team Holy Cross. Cooper put up 49 pts before we knew it, didnt allow us to score, and our players were still fresh. Conner put up points on us as we did them then pulled away. That is about how I figured this to go. Cooper pulled back as soon as the second half started and Conner did not. When you do the math Cooper will beat Conner. I will not say it will be a blow out but I would say by 14 or so.

Cooper is way more physical all across the field compared to Conner its not a hard statement to make. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

As for the doubters, I didn't see many post saying that and I did not post that because I did not figure that HC had much of a chance to win this game. But a no doubt is that as long as Cooper does not have any major injuries they will beat Conner.

For the "who is better" game (which will have to due us until the real game) how do you account for Cooper only putting up 10 points against a team that Conner put up 31 and rarely had the ball?

Trail played. He is much more effective than Gabbert. He did not play in the Cooper game. Can't compare the two games. Trail will really help HC come 2A time. Keep hatin. Love it.

Seems logical to me. If Trail played and Gabbard moved to WR HC got better at two positions tonight.

HC scored twice in the first string on two blown coverages, then once more when the jv was in. I don't care what anyone says, when a team can score 36 points in a 9 minute stretch, they are dangerous. Cooper Vs Conner will be a good game, but I don't see Cooper being able to score with the cougars.

We played u guys tuff with a smaller team and in my eyes gave you more then what you guys thought we had and didn't poke your guy in the eyes or take cheep shots punching guys in the nose. We play with pride and hard sweet. It was a good game for us it makes us better and more prepared for the hard work ahead of us for a wining season thanks for the game . You guys keep your head up you will need to for the rest of your season good luck your going to need it.

And as far as the cheap shot comment.. The officials didn't call a single personal foul on Conner tonight, so I doubt that was going on. As a matter of fact the only personal foul I can remember was on HC
