I'm not worried about it. I have an opinion and one of the best views in the house on Friday nights! I did sneak over to the Boone County/Cooper thread. I still think Cooper is the real deal, but maybe they are a different team against certain opponents. Everyone entitled to their own opinion as well.

You may know the numbers but it's clear you don't watch the game as well as you take down the numbers. Cooper is WAY faster and more physical then conner. I feel your looking at a score and not the team. Just saying.

 

I know what I saw in both games. I was very impressed with Cooper. I think the Jags and Conner have different styles and are currently fairly even. I made a prediction on the matchup to come based on styles and who will be home team. It is not a prediction on who is the better team (Cooper may be better, who knows) but who I think will win (Conner).

I have the same views that you do and I do respect the job you do but I feel your knowledge of the game is not up to power. You look at numbers to much and set your opinion off of that. It's just what I see. This is not to get you mad or take a dig at you. You do a good job at what you do!

Conner beat a not so good 2A team nothing to brag about.

 

UKfan you were and still are bragging about SK who beat a 1A(BW) school by 7 when they are a 6A school, not to mention BW was without their best player in #44. so i could say the same thing to you my friend.

Agree 100%. It is not a dig to say that I think Coopers D gives them a 2td edge over Conner. From what I was always told it is the defense that wins games, and Cooper has the team to slow down Conner. This is an my opinion after seeing both Cooper and Conner nothing more, nothing less. Both teams are very good and it will be a very good game when they play.

 

On another note the perception that Conner only has Barker and Fogle is not a bad thing, in fact us HC fans have to hear it all the time that all we have is Beal and Pouncy. It is just one of those things that the team will have to deal with, and prove everyone wrong week in and week out. They did nothing to really show otherwise against HC though and they didn't need too because they are 2 extremely talented players who took over the game entirely. The o-line deserves credit for Conner because near the end of the 2nd qtr you could tell that they were wearing the Indians down allowing for the Cougar running game to take over.

After watching Conner & Cooper play Boone, I won't make a prediction on the outcome of the game, other than to say I predict I will be there and it will be a good game. Cooper's defense looks to be the real deal. Ditto Conner's offense. Anyone could easily predict a 2 TD victory for either of these teams, but these teams appear evenly matched, each with different strengths. Having Morris play both ways would be a HUGE concern for me were I a Cooper fan. He will wear down as the season wears on
