With one game played for most teams, which game this week do you think will be the most competitive?

Probably the 2 games that are going to be played at Dixie.

CovCath/Dixie

Beechwood/SK

I think Beechwood and CCH look like definite favorites in those two games.

I agree....

Pulaski / Somerset shaping up to be a very competitive game this year.

Unless Dixie comes up with some bigger lineman to block for Pike they are in trouble in this one. If CCH has the size I hear they do this could be similar to last week.

CCH has 6 guys over 6'3 270 pounds.

If I remember the roster, Dixie has no one that big. There is one kid, #64, that is decent size. He played both ways and seemed to be gassed by the 3rd qtr, if not earlier, against NCC. The middle linebacker was listed at 5'9 and 180 lbs. I do not think that will cut it against a line that big. The rivalry factor may play into though.

Trinity-MBA ought to be good.

John Hardin vs Lex Cath ought to be a good one especially with the big showing JH had against an athletic Henry Clay.

I liked both the matchups at Dixie on Friday as very competitive games when I saw the schedule. After week 1, I'm having a much harder time getting excited about how close these two games might be.

Williamsburg and Harlan will be a dog fight IMO

Bell at Lafayette.

Letcher Central vs. Breathitt County

Prestonsburg vs. Sheldon Clark

Ft. Campbell vs. Russellville

Tilghman vs. Evansville Reitz

Hazard vs. Clintwood, VA
